go with a bl and run it at the full 1500 watts. it will get loud and sound alot better than some L5s

Alright so i get my sae 1200D and 12" fi bl installed saturday. drive around for 30 minutes and love it. stop to eat for about 45 minutes. when i come back and try to turn it on the sub makes a weird noise and the amp goes into protection mode. restart the car a couple of times and it does the same thing. take it to the place i got it installed and they rewire it and it still goes into protection and they hook up an alpine amp and the alpine works fine. so do i send it back? or is there some other way of fixing it?

its not connected and and the audio guys did everything and its not working... i have a 90 day warranty but i dont know where to send it That could be a problem right there. I hope they did it right. Thats why I always hook everything up myself so if somethin goes wrong, I effed up. Nobody to blame but me. If you know somebody with a system try and ask them if you can hook it up in their car and see if it works. You can then rule out sending it back. The guys that installed it have been in car audio for 30+ years... and why would i not be able to send it back???

Check all wiring to make sure everything is right and still connected. Maybe something came loose on your test drive? yeah we rewired it and it didnt work. and we put an alpine amp and the alpine worked

i would go with 2 10" bls... those will get loud but still sound great

so the 200A fuse would be good for 0 gauge?

What would the best wiring kit for the SAE 1200D be? 4 guage? 0 guage? Also is the knukonceptz wiring any good? there prices are pretty cheap

alright im about to order Kolossus Flex 0 gauge Power kit from knukonceptz for my SAE 1200D but i dont know which fuse type to get... i can get 60A, 80A, 100A, 120A, 150A, 200A, 250A, 300A... which one would be best for the SAE 1200D?

They have the Fleks cable available. Either by the foot or as an "amp kit". If you really just don't want to spend the money on the Fleks the KLM will work. i saw they sell the 1/0 fleks cable by the foot but i cant find an amp kit with 1/0 fleks cable

does anyone know of any places to get cheap 1/0 wiring? knukonceptz only has KLM 1/0 wiring and that one is supposedly not very good

Alright before i buy a 10" Bl with cooling i need to make sure i know the mounting depth... the website says 6.25" but i heard you have to leave an extra .5" for the pole vent... in this case it would be 6.75" mounting depth. is this correct?

Would 1 10" bl with cooling and flatwind coil in a 1.4 cuft box tuned to 32hz be louder than 2 10" ssds in a 1.8 cuft Tuned to 33hz? Also what would be the ideal port area for the ssds if I put them in a box with two ports? Thanks

yeah i factored all that in except for bracing... i didnt think i needed it since the box is like 2.2 cuft

good with what can fit because crampped subs in a small box will not sound to good or give you the best output. just my .02 alright yeah i think im gonna go with the 10" Bl with cooling and flatwind

well i already put in my seat lift and have my amp (sundown audio sae1200d) but im still looking for the right sub/ subs. I want either 2 10s with 600w rms handling and 6" mounting depth and require like .7 cuft ported or 1 10 or 12 with 1500w rms and 6.25" mounting depth and 1.4 cuft ported
