Yep, you do eventually get to learn where they keys are. I never played Oregon Trail, limited programs for a Mac then, I think MB was it for typing software.

I didn't know what iHop was about anyway, just kind of joined in. I sure as heck didn't go back and read 2000 pages though.

I agree, hunt and peck forever!

Firefox and Opera

Safari here. Might have to look into Firefox though. -
Mavis Beacon I bought that when I got my first computer, so I could learn to type. Went about half way and figured that was good enough.

Sub displacement was considered, .05 ft^3/sub. Should put me at .832 ft^3/sub which if I remember right is almost exact suggestion from Alpine for a sealed box. Center divider was factored into the length. Now I need to go back and figure everything in for the actual MDF thickness, inside dimensions will be the same, but outside will change. Glad I did figure a little small for the truck space it'll actually go into. Thanks ANeonRider, better to find out now rather than when I start building. Ed

I'm tired of this white junk. We had a nice warm week, and now snow. I'm ready for spring/summer already.
-
Anyone else getting snow right now?

Good deal! I usually don't get them unless I drink a bunch of different stuff. Couple of shots and a few beers is all I need, mix other alcoholic beverages in and I get the dreaded hangover.
-
Damn, you guys were up late. I had to go to bed early, have to work today cuz some butthead called in.

I see nothing wrong with wearing pink panties...

All in good fun is cool. And this should make it post #20, but I'll wait a little longer, I'm in no big hurry to get rid of my amp.
-
bah, your close enough. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You're right, close enough in my opinion. Dude has a nice ride, nice stereo equipment, and isn't a dick - can't ask for anything more. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Cool, thanks for the compliment, and it's nice to be on a board where everyone goes out of there way to help you out. And it's also nice to be on a board that you can post on and not get flamed for every little thing.

Do I have enough posts to sell something on the For Sale board yet? BTW Acidburn, that avatar is jacked up, here I am waiting to see some breasticles and all I get to see is the bird.

Wrong name, it's eMacEdH.

My first subs I had were 2-10" MTX Blue Thunders, bought used and took advantage of the 10 year warranty at the time. Next came a pair of 12" Kicker Comp Vr's that I still have in my '97 Neon. I just bought a pair of 10" Alpine Type-R's to put into my SRT. Ed

Pics will definately be posted up as I install, I hope to start building the box this weekend. Ed

Bought from different places, all brand new equipment. The subs I bought local and the amps off of the internet, but not too bad of a deal for around $950. The whole deal: MRV-F540: MRD-M501: 10" Type-R: Ed

Fav headunit
04BlueSRT replied to jntar's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
I've always liked and had Pioneer in my vehicles, but decided I'd try Alpine once they came out with the iPod interface last year. Ed -
I was wondering how good the iPod interface is with the '05 models, and if it was worth the upgrade to a newer headunit. Thanks, Ed

I'm just waiting on some more cash to buy my wiring, power distribution supplies and some MDF to build a box, hopefully I'll have all of that in the next few weeks. Ed
