Hey guys, I've been looking for a reputable and reliable car shipping company, I need to get my car from Kansas city mo to Wichita falls Tx which is only like 8 or so hours away.. The reason I need it my parents moved to Florida so I no longer have a way of getting home from the airport when I fly home since my base is about 3 hours from home. Any suggestions of companies that are reputable and fairly priced? My car is a 2011 mustang if that helps any Thanks guys! Ps military discounts are welcomed :peepwall:

No compromise SSA Evil passive crossovers

Uh this is awkward... I may or may not have some PCB's made if you're interested. I wouldn't mind sending you a set :) -

Pretty much I started a family, bought a house, and travel for work. So I end up getting zero time for audio, plus the financial cost is something I really can't stomach anymore. I have a pair of Icon 12's and an IC2200.1 in my Malibu but that's as far as I've gone and will go for probably awhile.

Do I really need this charger? CTEK charger
Julian replied to Jeremy90's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Another thing to note, since you have such a large battery bank (I assume 5 g31's), charging at 5a each is going to take forever to bring to an acceptable level. -
JDM 1991 Mitsubishi J53 Jeep Turbo Diesel

I would wire the stepdown on a relay and attach the trigger wire to the key switch, then attach the radio constant and accessory wire together to the 12v side of the stepdown so you can have a switched source. I can draw a diagram if you'd like. -
I've personally used this Sony Microphone and its excellent, its pretty great all around and if you do want to use it in a loud location it does not get overwhelmed very easily. I actually used it to record car audio videos, it withstands 160+ dB no problem but is sensitive enough to pick up everything clearly in a quiet location.

fixed it for ya

IIRC they are the same except for the cap change, there might be some minor soft part changes but it shouldn't affect much, If you wanted them to match I would just recone your old one and then purchase another woofer.

I edited the title for you as it was just the letter S.

Will this work and be an efficient busbar?

They're pretty easy to make, or you could have ProjectDb or ToolMaker make you some. -

Here are my old bus-bars that I made to fit on top of dual post batteries. -
Do I need 45s in my box? How do I measure bracing
Julian replied to Jeremy90's topic in SPL & SQ / Fabrication
It's debatable how necessary 45's are needed for daily use but all in all it doesn't hurt. As long as your 45's aren't gigantic they don't take up much space at all, if you're worried you can calculate it using you can use this website to calculate bracing you can also use this to calculate the brace volume http://www.hometheatershack.com/forums/enclosure-volume-calculator/ -
Stop being a giant? That being said finding shoes for me is a nightmare, I have average size feet but they're a bit wider.. to add on to that my right foot is slightly wider. So I end up with one loose shoe or one shoe too tight.

I'd like to get a suit made out here in Tunisia, you can get one made for about 200 dinar which is under $90 but I'm horrible at picking out styles. I'd like to get one nice suit so when I'm in training at Harris I can be a cut above the other people there.

Hey man! yeah it has been! heres an example of what I'm talking about

How much space do you have under the rear seat? If you can weld/fabricate you could make risers and extend the height of the seats for more clearance. Is it a bench seat or a 25/75 split? If so you could pull the 25% out and build an enclosure there.

Personally I would prefer one amp over two, strapping amps in my experience has always been a bit of a hassle. The Ampere 3500 would be an excellent match for an Evil, I can personally guarantee you that the Evil can take MUCH more than rated as long as you're smart ;). As long as your electrical is solid there will be no issues there!

Mini/small/micro amps
Julian replied to Tirefryr's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
I've installed many of the PBR line from Rockford, they are super tiny and put out a lot of power for their size with the only caveat being they can tend to run a little bit hot, though that being said I've never had one shut off. -
Honestly there could be a sizable difference difference since you're doubling power however, you would be better off optimizing your enclosure or increasing cone area since that's a much cheaper route.
