Sound Solutions Audio ZCONS Don't get loud :(
Julian replied to Julian's topic in Sound Solutions Audio (SSA®)
I think SSA owes me a new wall.. the ZCONS broke it -
Also got an Avital 5303 installed today when we were working on my friends Extreme van.

after a little bit of testing I can now SB a 155 and some change should be a good show tomorrow

I've been having issues with the PCM messing with my voltage, so I spoke with Josh Over at mechman and he told me to see what happens when I disconnect it.. this is what happens.. this is something he has NEVER seen. As I say in the video it is not a self exciting alternator. It is a brand new 320a alt.

550 shipped for 2 18s http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/topic/55585-2-zcon-18-d1s/

Too much power probably, If you're running a cheap korean amplifier that can be an issue too which can lead to tinsels burning up

That wire to my knowledge just runs to my battery up front. The Harness is what tells the alternator to turn on or off or modulate the voltage.
-
I disconnected the harness from the alternator and started it, Josh from mechman told me in some newer cars without the harness connected and the PCM controlling the alternator some bad things can happen to them. I am about to call him and see what he says.
-
I only did this to see what would happen if I were to externally regulate my alt, this is just a weird ass occurrence. Josh suggested this to see if anything funky would happen..
-
I've known him for sometime and his communication was good so I didnt expect it to be horrible. It does the job and is cheap fwiw its whatever.
-
I forgot to mention this is a PCM regulated car, so the PCM controls the output of the alt.

I'm pretty sure walmart sells a kit with them in there... http://www.walmart.com/ip/Scosche-DIN-Radio-Removal-Tool/870835 But seriously a bent metal coat hanger will work...

Programs like that don't instill much confidence in me. Especially when the exercises are constantly changing, ie: "Have to shock the muscles." Complete bullshit. I also flipped their nutrition section, and found numerous bullshit tips, such as: "you need eat a meal every few hours to stoke the metabolic fire." Why not just do a split routine, and learn how to keep your nutrition in order for your goals? There is merit to what they are saying, but programs like that have to be watered down and simplified for the masses. What part? It is good practice to not stay on the same routine for long, as in cycle weight/reps/rest etc., in essence "shocking" the muscles. Small meals spread out through out the day is supposedly easier for your body to break down and people can tend to eat less overall calories. I didn't purchase it... But I'm just doing it as a guideline to learn some exercises because I fucking hate the gym. I love the gym, look forward to it. Each little bit of progress gets me motivated for the next workout. It truly is my ONE hour just for me, during day light hours. Yet, I find myself answering PM's and Google+ messages most days I have no Idea what I'm doing in all honesty.. lol.. We did Insanity/p90x in tech school and I liked it... well hated it but liked it. If you have someone like me, near you, that can kind of bring you along with ideas and some sample work out's, it will make a difference. nope lol
