    Welcome to the IHoP

plant food in their engine bay, neighbor problem and pack rat problem solved. Some nice Heirloom Tomatoes, peas, maybe carrots... or just throw a big gob of peanut butter in it. With a trail leading to it.

    Welcome to the IHoP

I haven't installed but I've shadowded a few of my friends at the shop. Depending on the year it's pretty easy... If you go the full digital Can-bus system (IIRC) it can be easy, but it doesn't always go right.. They usually manually tap everything because there is less to go wrong. I use the Avital 5303 (IIRC Alarm/Remote Start) I like it, the 2 way key fob is garbage though.. The range on it sucks... Although the 1 way is much better. I like the Viper stuff, very high quality but you pay the price. I paid around 400 installed total for mine. I was looking at the Viper systems yesterday. They are nice too. When I do an install in my GF's car I'm probably either going to take mine out and put it in hers or get her one of the upper model Vipers, or I might go with a smart start, however the delay is around 3 seconds. I think the smart start is neat, but my concern is how long until problems start surfacing using that system. Going to a local guys who has done a couple today and see what he has to say. Only complaint I've heard was the delay, Haven't heard much after that. You can install it, I have faith.. but the installers have access to VERY specific wiring guides online that lists all of them out which is a huge help. I have no doubt I can do it, I just want to hear what they have to say. They will give me anything I need because I help them out on the audio side. To be honest I never looked into these starters, so this is new to me. if you're not in a rush when I get back home and see if I can pick one up at employee discount.

Yeah I wasn't quite sure, it's only 80 calories with 30 grams of protein omega 3, etc. That vs a KitKat or a soda kills it. lol

Yeah it doesn't state where it's from.. in terms of calories/filling/protein it's pretty great. Usually eat 2 for lunch 1-2 as snacks and 2 after my workout which usually lasts around 2 hours or so of lifting with 1.5 run to the gym and a 1.5 run bck.

Are there any health issues with eating a lot of tuna? I know for kids or pregnant women the mercury can be dangerous.. But does that include adults? I usually eat 4-5 Tun packet a day (the StarKist in the pouch) since it's low calorie and high protein.

The sander will be an air hog. I'd suggest at least a 10cfm unit. Expect to pay at least $600 new. You'll want a dryer as well if you are painting. Yeah, I know that much, We have a guy who builds compressors next to my friends shop and I'm thinking of going that route. Not sure though.

    Welcome to the IHoP

I'm looking for an upright compressor... enough to drive a paint gun/pnumatic sander without breaking the bank? Must be 120v standard plug...

X2 I'm getting on the prowl for a "cheap" DSLR that I can take a variety of pics with (low light gatherings, photos of stiff I sell, landscapes, hiking adventures etc.. ) I just picked up a used Sony A55 LNIB for 500 bucks shipped, you can use minolta lenses on the A frames which you can get refurbished/new/used for a real real cheap price but you have to be weary of mold/dust. I'll be picking up some minolta lenses when I get back.

I was looking for an android option but to no avail with touchscreen support. A tablet is the best option

    Welcome to the IHoP

IMO that'd be dumb. MiniPC gives you WAY more freedom. Carputer without the capability of serious custom DSP capability is completely backwards. Might as well just run a tablet if you are looking at Apple stuff. Hmm, never heard of a MiniPC, I'll look it up

    Welcome to the IHoP

Very true, I want to use my Galaxy Tab 10.1 VZW edition.. but it's just a hair too big for my dash. Built in 4g/3g +wifi + Gps would be PERFECT, Only issues would be that the volume/power knobs are on the side. probably could fab something up to push the buttons.. or go directly to the board and extend them to the front of the dash.. I could sell it for what I got it for (200$) but I don't think I could get much better for the price/size/options.

    Welcome to the IHoP

really contemplating a mac Mini carputer install.. You can get an old one for around 100 off of ebay, but the touch screen is 3x the cost of the mac mini lol.. Looking like a total of 400$ which isn't too bad.. but damn Mac Mini + MiniDsp + double din Lilliput screen = hmm...
