Check all of your grounds especially if you used ring terminals. Lower your gain till your noise goes away, that is what your gain is for.. to reduce your noise ceiling. Also if that doesn't work, try grounding the outside shield of the RCA's to your head unit. A combination of those could help.

Okay, Finally got the battery situation figured out. The people at Sears could NOT find my invoice, they said they couldn't find anything (come to learn 99% likely they didn't want to warranty them out because it means money out of their pockets), so I had my friend who works at a different local sears store.. Within 5 minutes he had it pulled up and faxed over, with invoice in hand they STILL "couldn't" find the original invoice even with the same invoice numbers.. After about 5 minutes of bitching at them they finally pulled it up.. THEN they tried to nit pit about how on the computer the product number is xxxxx31 and on the receipt it said xxxxx31m. After a few more minutes of bitching them out they finally agreed to warranty them out. What I'm "assuming" what happened; is one of them had a bad cell and it drained the shit out of them to the point where the went bad. They sat 2 months uncharged in very cold temps in my garage Initial test fit, Seems like they were almost made to fit, they fit tightly side to side, luckily the C&D's were less than .25 wider than the diehards. put the larger C&D's on the outside to distribute the weight of the larger batts. Used a strip of 12 ga angle iron (I don't know the exact name) to hold them from moving backwards.. Yes those are wing nuts, I ran out of washers and wanted to get it all in, lol.

The alt bar is 1/2" thick by around 6" long, It was made by ProjectDB and it is in no danger of arcing on anything.. it has good clearance all around, but for an extra layer of security I put several layers on the bottom/sides.

finally some updates! Did some tidying of some wires, but that was about it.. while I was gone 4 of my diehards went bad, so I'm waiting for them to be replaced, a battery rack will soon follow.

Assuming they were all good to begin with (well maintained) I'm not sure, but either way I'll get new batts for free. gotta love Sears! Go work for them and I guarantee that sentiment will quickly change! I worked as a tech for monkey wards, probably the same idea.Let me rephrase that, gotta love the warranty on batteries at sears. All 4 tested bad cant find my recepit and they cant pull up the purchase history

Looks like the power went out at my house and my battery maintainer shut off when I was deployed.. all 4 of my Diehards went bad... They're reading 5-6v and will not take a charge, even charged individually, but thank god the replacement term on the Diehards is 3 years free replacement. Fuck yeah.

NOXplode. I love the stuff That stuff Is fucking gross, it made me feel like I was on cocaine. I would rather go to the gym tired. It made me jittery, nervous, and it made me feel like shit after working out. I would say crank... cocaine makes you feel good. Crank just cranks you up. But yeah, it is strong. The crash is bad, and I generally crash inside of 45 minutes. But the boost kicks ass. I started off with 1 scoop, and that was way too much... Even after a hard ~2hr work out I couldn't sleep. it made me nauseous, 1/2 was even too much. I take 2 - 2 1/2 scoops. 2 hours is too long to be working out. I crash so hard that I feel like sleeping immediately after the workout. It is everything I can do to down my 2 protein shakes and my mass gainer. Usually 15-20min running to the gym ~2 miles, then weight lifting, then maybe some circuit training and the run back.

I hate when a nap makes you feel worse than you did previously.

I'm interested in a 14v setup, I'm not sure how many batteries I'll need since they're only 50ah. I have a 320a Mechman externally regulated alt. I will be running 4 3500's at .5 each. My car starts freaking out at around 15v, so a 16v setup with a stepdown is a must, but I'm not sure how many I need for my car/accessories to run since the ones from XS are only 50a maximum.

No... its for a daily system 14v=16v setup.. I wanted to know how many batteries I would need..

Either way you're gonna be satisfied. The BDCP will run 1500w at either 1 or 2 ohms. Which if you decide to add more subs or change the impedance of your subs you will still be at around 1500w. -
Which sub to go with? W7 or AA Havoc or Other?

The Xcon would be another viable option, very great woofer that sounds good. -
4 channel amp choices ???
Julian replied to Hookedup12's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
I owned the MRP-F300 and it was a very good amp for the price. The kicker is also a good amp. -
watching Beverly Hills Cop, so damn funny.. I love older Eddie Murphy movies.
