That is a slim budget for an SLR. I will also make the blanket statement that Sony SLR is not money well spent. I know others love them. Of course they work. You just have less options long term. It instantly limits your options and ability to get a deal. For that budget I might reccomend a point and shoot of nice quality from any brand. Any camera can take great pictures. The SLR just helps you, and allows you more freedom and helps you get better shots. I'm looking to sell my Sony a55 for the right price if you would be interested.

What year mustang do you have? In my 2011 I could not fit my Bravox 6.5's without them rubbing on the inner door skin, so you have to take that into account. It'll range from 2010+ models. Not sure about the older ones however.

when I spoke to MechMan they strongly suggested I not do the very same application you did. They said they would end up burning up

It smoked it because it wasn't being cooled. The alt pulls air through it when it's running clock wise.. since you put it in there backwards it no longer cooled it's self.

Quick question about ground distribution blocks
Julian replied to mlcantin's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Okay so I won't have to ground this one? What do you say Ricki?Well, Yeah you'd have to ground it regardless. Unless you have a magical amp that doesn't require a ground. -

depends on what kind you get -
Sounds like a ground issue, choose a better ground to see if that'll change it up

When I've ran more than 2 + amps I've always usually had to run a Line driver just due to the fact I'd have to turn up the gain an insane amount to get it to get loud without introducing a bunch of noise
