Cone area is king. I see you're from St Joe. I used to work at NW audio, if you need advice that's an excellent shop to go to. They know their stuff especially for SPL.

We've had 3 psi recones go mysteriously soft to the point where you could bottom them out with your hand. One coil go mysteriously bad. So I tend to say no to psi.

If your paint on the outside isn't great you can use dry ice on the top to make it brittle and scrape it off. -

Yeah toluene and a hard plastic scraper would probably work. In order of decreasing speed (i.e., fastest first): acetonenapthapaint thinnerkerosene, diesel Gasoline works too but I wouldn't want my car reeking of gas lol -

I had the SD2.0 the older model to the HDS212 in a 4 cube box tuned to 28ish hz and it got down pretty good in the mustang with a 6" port. But they lasted a whole week before the coils delaminated and started rattling.- 25 replies

Voice coils wired in parallel, speakers wired in series and then the pair of 4 wired in parallel for a final 4 ohm loadHow would that look? The same as series parallel It would look exactly like that 2 sets of 4 wired in parallel (black to black red to red) of the end of the chain.

(series/parallel) on the first 4 then wire the sets of 4 together in parallel getting you to a final load of 2 ohms. Or run them all parallel for a total of .5 ohms.

why do my lights still dim
Julian replied to Elton's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Pretty much what cloud said. There can be a pretty noticeable dim even with big electrical just due to how little difference it takes to be noticeable, if it's really that bad. -

We eat a lot since it's a cheap, quick, and healthy protein that can be thrown in a lot of different dishes. Plus the fact they freeze pretty well means we always have some.
