I like the look of it, but im not a fan of the tires. it does look nice though would be cool to see some reg tires on it. looks great though -
it should come closer to 2 ohms.. im pretty sure the coils aren't .7 each. everything seems great, you should loved your BTL

permanent or temp? you can easily use expanding foam. But with sealing those vents, they're there for a reason, to relieve pressure.

Trying to run speaker wires and rcas quick question
Julian replied to klee7013's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
it doesn't matter, you get buzzing from bad grounds. typically the ground is the - and the positive is obviously a + and when the connectors are directly into the speaker the larger tab is the + and the smaller is - -

The Xcon is more of SQ subwoofer with great output. The BL is more of an all around ground pounder. Both are great subwoofers, the BL is slightly cheaper, and overall great. I owned the 15" BL and enjoyed it on 1500 watts from my Saz-3000d. It is a toss up, but for an overall daily, ground pounder the BL and Xcon are great. The Xcons are awesome in lower tuned enclosures, and BL's get loud from 30-35hz Xcons can be sealed, BL's cannot. the Xcons like Sealed: 2.0 - 2.25 cu.ft, Sealed: 2.75 - 3.0 cu.ft. optimal, Ported: 3.0 - 3.25 cu.ft. @ 26-33 hz, Ported: 4.0 cu.ft. @ 26-33hz opt. For the Bl Ported box we recommend using 2.8-4 cubic feet @ 28-37Hz.

I wouldn't worry too much, in comparison most car audio gear sent to normal stores has something like a 50% DOA. I know the guys at DB-r will get this sorted out for you, something similar happened to me with my Saz-3000d (it was someone at DB-r's fault, they soldered the power leads too long and it burnt up) but i packaged it badly and the RCA's were smashed and destroyed completely, DB-r fixed it free of charges for my hassle. Don't worry too much i don't think I've heard of a problem Jacob wasn't on in a matter of days trying to best please the customer.

what vehicle do you have?

"SQL" is not a term, Sound Quality and SPL are two different things. Generally, the Q will play lower than the BL, The Q can be sealed. The BL will be louder than the Q, but it is all install Dependant. The Bl is the little brother of the BTL, I owned a 15" Bl and it got loud, low, and sounded great. It sounds like you're more inclined towards the Bl, I would suggest this.

Thats a typical rule of thumb.

Xcon's and D3400's included screenshot This is a weight issue, the total weight is over UPS allowed limit for one package, haven't figured out how to get around this yet, all you have to do is make seperate orders for something like this. For now... ah i see. does the system assume it will be one huge package?

Screws are your best bet.. if i remember drywall screws are the best.

How many Ft of 1/0 for Big 3?
Julian replied to slim142's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
it's all dependent on your alternator, battery, and engine ground locations, what you do is get a piece of string and measure from where you would put your wires for the big 3 from point to point, add all the lengths up. -

Most subwoofer terminals only accept 1 run of 8 gauge so typically you have to either trim it down or use smaller wire

Stetsom amplifiers are a very good choice also.
