I'll be going to Haskell Indian Nations University, after 3 years i'll transfer over to KU (Thought you might like that ) We'll have to meet up when i get down there! My apartment is 800 sq. feet, 1 bedroom, water & trash paid, and it's $705/month. But my complex is fairly new. I could have stayed in my former apartment, a 3 bedroom townhouse, for only about 100 more per month. But it wasn't as nice as the one I'm in now. However, of course the landlords were upgrading every other unit in the complex at that time so others were nicer, and they weren't going to upgrade ours until we left. Well, I'll tell you what. You can just look for yourself. Most of the apartment complexes in the whole city (plus some duplexes) are listed on www.apartments.lawrence.com. If you tell me what kind of place you want, and maybe where, I can suggest some complexes if that's what you're looking at. Well, Somwhere close to Haskell would be great, 1 Bedroom, Washer/dryer, Maybe a carport or garage, Just kinda a college apartment, furnished if possible, Probably no more than 700/mo.

You should really stop going mainstream, there are tons of companies (on this forum also) that sell great products for less then what you can get mainstream woofers for. The SSD's will blow away the type R's and so will SSA Icons for a similar price.

I'd say a body kit all around, new lights with angel eyes with some HIDs would look nice, i like the current grill, maybe move the GMC logo over to the side.

Punctuation is key, I would just buy another aq1200 and strap them, just make sure you buy the D1 so you can wire to two ohms. In your manual it should show you how to strap them, if they're strap-able. Be aware, if one amp fails.. it WILL cause the other amp to fail as well. That could be a very expensive break. good point. didnt think about that. but think about it. if he bought an aq2200d it has the same chance as one 1200d failing right? Since he already has one 1200d just get one more. BTL d1 wire to 2 ohm. I have never heard of this before, I'd like to see some more information on this. I'd not only consider it, I'd make it mandatory. You're putting a very very very heavy woofer on 3/4" MDF is just a sign for disaster, are there any plans for bracing?

I'd look into Bravox, Bravox > Focal. You should fiberglass door pods, instead of looking for 5x7's.
