9 Mi Biked today, accomplished.

Cheap, Chinese, and a few other things come to mind Aaron!

Very musical for being high output woofers. I can guarantee you will not be satisfied with the Q's output.. they are very good woofers but reading over what you've said the BL series would be more appropriate for your (vague) goals.

I've been looking at the HT-S9300THX I've read almost 200 post on http://www.avsforum....=1057095&page=6 and they've all been great positive feed back on the older model HT-S9100THX.. so i'd imagine the newer model is better then that. I've been thinking about getting a Onkyo receiver and adding speakers like you've mentioned.. because HTIB speakers aren't the best but, i've read that the receiver in the S9300 is almost EXACTLY the same as the 606, it seems to have everything i need and it's about the same price as the S9300THX.. so i am thinking about getting the S9300 and then if needed upgrade the speakers later on. Positive feedback from those who know nothing about audio and have crappy hearing. You also said it yourself, your room is too small for 7.1 In your budget 2 speakers will sound better than the 7.1 EASILY. I thought Plasmas are poo poo and LCD is the way to go, am i wrong? Yes, completely. Plenty of seriously kick ass Plasma's. However, HTIB also poo poo...that you didn't get right either. http://www.plasmatvbuyingguide.com/plasmatvreviews/plasma-vs-lcd.html in my Room i have a 300 dollar sony 5.1 surround system, it sounds great In my opinion... for my first home theater system it's not bad.. it has "auto calibration" which made things very easy. If you're just an occasional user of a HT system, an AIO system will not disappoint unless it's some piece of shit.

Ooh like what? similar looking board layout as the AQ 3500
-
Before you jump into that large of a system you need to do a lot of research, doing your research first will result in less headaches and no broken equipment. That is your first option, your second option is to find a reputable and quality installer or shop (and yes they exist) to install your equipment and set it up. The end result will depend on your electrical system, choice of equipment, and your enclosure.

Use string go to route it, it then measure how much string you need. -

As soon As I drop 800 dollars on the dash kit and HU.. My dashkit is around 200$ and I have to get an 80$ Wiring harness why don't you use your mad F/B skills and make one... I'd lose all of my Air conditioning controls.. it's one huge circuit board on the back of the stock dash. As soon As I drop 800 dollars on the dash kit and HU.. My dashkit is around 200$ and I have to get an 80$ Wiring harness That's ridiculous. And here I was mad when I had to spend like 30 dollars on a dash kit lol. I hope it's nice. I really don't see how they can justify $80 for a wiring harness either, I mean it's just some wire and plastic. If i don't use the dashkit i'll get error codes.. and on a new car i don't feel like messing with them Contemplating 4 Dcon 10's... or 4 Icon 10's.. not 100% sure. Still have to pay back my parents and my lawyer
