Removing or modifying SSF filter on SS Rubicon 2500?
Julian replied to s_carter's topic in Advanced Discussion
Most subwoofers I've found roll off before 15hz... aka because it's humanly impossible to hear anything much under 20Hz.. It's usually things vibrating around you.. etc. -
PERSONALLY, I could give a flying fuck less. I just know how people serving with me feel. MANY would not be comfortable, and they survey was done in a possibly dangerous way. J http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FgtribAoaGY Bryan Safi is so funny.. and he brings up a lot of true points.. Stupid homophobics.

Any difference with upgrade?

SPL = Sound Pressure Level. That is ALL your ear "feels" although most people call that feeling hearing. Your argument is absurd. Level comparing in a non-blind AB is a joke. Do your tests right and then report otherwise keep drinking the psychoacoustic koolaid.   -
I was just about to do that.

Figured as much. I paid $1,100 for 2 2500's from a guy who bought them and had to sell them before he got to use them so i got the 2500's for a smokin deal, and I guess if I ran linked for around 6,000 watts.... Then should I run Twin 2500's or 1 SAZ-4500? Birth sheets mean nothing.

The tooling costs for a single custom part would cost well over what it would cost to buy a complete woofer. -

Where are you going to get the soft parts required for a 21+" woofer? -
