Ahhh! I want to get some kind of solid idea of what i want to do in college.. And I know I won't grow out of audio what-so-ever so i feel like it's a natural choice to do... Any suggestions? I have a basic understanding of electrical concepts just because my dad is an electrical engineer. But anyways.. I really want to be able to design not only subwoofers but understand deeply into more advanced topics. No money in speakers as an engineer. Although if there is a funded manufacturer here in the US, I've done something with them Well Yeah.. I would take that as a minor or something (Since it's more of an interest)... Maybe I'll just have to go with Electrical engineering? hmmm... I went to a liberal arts college so I had to write my own minor. I've worked in fourier math now since 97. Yikes, getting old. I chose sales though as I am a slut for $ Haha, I'd be a prostitute for 100,xxx a year... haha

Nope 1/0 will be slightly larger. Would I be able to open them up a little bit to clamp onto 1/0? I only ask cus theres a place i can get a bunch for like 14 cents each. Hmmm... I would think so i'd buy a couple and see if you could... Where from?

I'd do a nice box with a port plug so you can tune high (around car resonance) and low for daily.

I thought the same thing on my dads car, but this was with the wire that went through the door to the speakers, ended up rubbing.. now everything is fucked in his doors. lol nothing works, locks, etc. ouch, what vehicle? I couldn't tell, but you should really put a plastic grommet where the 1/0 comes through the sheet metal, that sheet metal is razor sharp and you risk grounding it out. I wouldn't want to see your car go up in smoke!

Lots and lots of cone area or lots and lots of power. Dereks stang has 3 18's with a ton of power.

I always say go bigger, 1/0 Is plenty big.. So you don't have tO go back and replace it all Also a difference not sure if stated, the xs/kinetiks can be drained almost to empty without major life shorting on it.. Lead Acid batteries however will begin to last not as long,

I have a feeling they didn't sell very well... huge amps like that have a veerrry small market, assuming the stores bought quantities thinking people would buy them... they didn't sell so well so they dropped the price... Wouldn't doubt it..
