    Fi's Manufacturing line pictures?

So is that why I found a piece of bread in my subs pole vent?? LOL jk Wouldn't surprise me. I generally don't have a speaker on the table if i'm eating lunch...sometimes I forget though. Is Fi car audio Hiring? I would love to build subwoofers, that would be a dream come true! Nope.. Don't hire people that have any interest at all in car audio. HAHAHA

It's far more durable than paint, well, in a traditional paint. There are very hard paints that are heat-cured like powder coating and they are also electrostatic applied. You typically see these on OEM wheels. If you are going to have them coated, they will strip them down to bare metal first. You can only powder coat over powder and it has to be done right after the first coat, so you would have bare metal-powder-cure-cool-powder-cure. I don't know how much abuse your wheels will see, but I've had great success with normal spray paint (enamel) on wheels. IT's cheap and easy to touch-up if anything happens. Hell, scuff your wheels now, go grab several cans of paint, paint the wheels and see how it lasts. IT may cost you $30 and some time, but you may find it a cheap alternative to powder coating which could easily run $100+ per wheel. IT also give you the ability to easily touch up whenever you need. They won't see too much abuse since they will be the street wheels. Maybe some dirt roads but that's it. And touching curbs with my tires is unlikey I looked at a neighbors freshly refurbed wheels (sandblasted then powdercoated) and they turned out ok. Powdercoating was $5 / wheel, sandblasting was $30 for all 4. Not an outstanding job but way better than how mine look now, they are in horrible shape. For how much the powdercoating costs I don't think it's worth spending my time painting them. Otherwise I'd paint for sure and touch up when needed. WOW! At that price, it's a no-brainer. Yep, HOLY SHEEEE-ITE We'll see how it turns out. I just got the wheels back from sandblasting, everything good so far. Color ideas ? Supposedly I have 160 color options What color is your car? Pix or gtfo

    ZCON Prototype

Not dig'n the dome tags at all. I am very curious what the optimal enclosure sizes will be for these bad boys. .03 cubes at 27hz. I was thinking a similar box size but tuned at 1 hz Looks good

hopefully flying out today at 2:45.. hopefully.
  7. IIRC lowering internal volume will increase the tuning.
  8. if i'm reading this correctly.. it will actually raise tuning if you take away from internal space your tuning will raise.

    Next Year Blowthrough Build

Something you should know, Alpine DOES NOT.. Let me repeat DOES NOT make recones for the woofers, NO one does.. so if you blow them they are BIG ass paper weights. Be careful.

Yeah, it's not so bad up in wichita ks... not a lot of snow fall just a TON of wind so it's whipping all the fallen snow around making it hard to see... it's not wet snow either so most of it's not sticking

    Welcome to the IHoP

flight is cancelled hopefully flying out tomorrow.
  16. Agreed about tuning.. my tuning was 32hz and it was extremely loud and low! 27 hz will lack MAJOR output, personally I would tune between 32 and 35hz.

I cringe at a GOOD steak being cooked anything over medium.. i can understand if you're older or you're feeding it to kids.. but damn.. it's sad.

Help!!! Torn between my options!! N

Only thing i can think of is raising the tuning... It'll break less stuff, BILTD did the same thing in his astro raising tuning.
