That's normal, my dekas run around there. Not many batteries run around 13v resting especially if it's an older battery.

From what ive read, CCA can support up to 300 amps of current (depending on length) and pure copper wire can handle 350+ amps (of course depending on length). The CCA is good stuff I've used it with no problem, and Im also now using 2/0 of welding wire. Flexibility is about the same, however the welding cable is much easier to work with it since it is true Awg and not oversized to compensate for the lack of copper, Aka it fits into terminals/fuse blocks easier IMO.

I'd get universal regardless due to the fact you're able to recone the woofer if you ever get more of them,

Dual alts will most likely be more expensive than a singular large alternator.

More when it comes to electrical is ALWAYS better, its easier to buy one large alternator, instead of buying a smaller one and say "shit this isn't enough" and have to sell that smaller one (and probably lose money) to buy a larger one.
