In an attempt to lower the box volume while raising tuning i added a larger 45 in the corner, I'm going to start to put a larger one in. A ZCON on 5k can reach is mechanical limits fast in a box this large lol

Best bet right here, that's what we do at work. We drill the heads off and just remove it completely. You could easily set a Rivnut in place of where the old screw was.

He was averaging, but that's a good rule of thumb, the formula is: Amperage x Voltage= Wattage You know as well as me you have to factor amplifier efficiency which can range from 65-95% depending on the class of the amp. I was running a PB 5k off of 2 Deka's and dropping no lower than 13v, now that I have two D3100's instead of the deka's I don't drop below 14v full tilt with a stock 190 amp alt.

Buying used especially amps you can get well under that budget.. I've spent no more than 1500 on a Saz-3500, SSA ZCON 18, enclosure, and batteries. I'm in the 150's and soon to be climbing And how much if that was at normal person price? Oh wait..... none. batteries used.. when the saz3k was new i got it for 600 bucks used.. a used 18 can go for cheap too regardless. Was a SAZ3000 mentioned?
