I'll be there with the gf, we can get toasty and rep ssa! -
You can add a variable resistor on one of the sensing leads of the alt to raise the voltage. Not all work like that however,

Sorry dde that you live there. I was stationed there for 6 months and hated every day of my life. Lol I would just save up and monitor your voltage until you're ready to make the big purchase. You may not need one depending on your listening hAbits

Wichita Falls, Tx? I am so sorry you live there.. You will have hard voltage drop, I would run the alts in tandem seeing how you can't afford a new one. I would save up for a new alt.

Are you talking about the batts RAM is selling? I don't know much about battery's, would you mind explaining what specs to look at or direct me to a good source to read about it? I'm pretty new to the big power setups and plan on upgrading my electrical soon. Thanks, Rick I've always looked at it this way, AH is X amount of amps over X hours which isn't really relevant for us in car audio unless you sit there and listen to music for hours. CCA is the numbers of amperes a lead-acid battery at 32 degrees F (0 degrees C) can deliver for 30 seconds and maintain at least 1.2 volts per cell (7.2 volts for a 12 volt battery). Which in car audio you see the most.. long bass drop in tern the amp draws large amounts of current. Personally I believe CCA is much more relevant to us car audio enthusiasts rather than AH which is more for trolling, etc. NGT Extreme batteries are sold locally at CARQUEST auto stores which some places have them and they run about 250 from the store, they are the same batteries as the Deka Intimidator Group 31 batteries which you can get shipped from Remy for around $200.

wall with 2 18's port to the drivers side, in the 2011 mustang there is a 190 amp alt and i run two of the d3100s on 5k and my voltage is awesome.

I would not look at AH Cranking amps is a better spec to look at because that is a 500a pull for 30 seconds. Which is what happens a lot In car audio. Ah is more for trolling boats, etc. I would look In to a deka intimIdator which run about 200$ new shipped or if you want to pick up a battery locally you can pick up NGT extremes which are the same battery just a different case and name

Typically when they AA/Fi builds a new version of the sub it's typically minor changes. I would just use the box specs they currently have.

I'm not a slacker, or trying to live off the government, but if I can't afford health insurance, and there's an available government option, I'd opt for it. I just wish healthcare was actually affordable for everyone, but the only way for that to become a reality is a government option that creates competition in the health insurance market, destroying the monopoly, but I guess that makes me a socialist? My father runs his own business and therefore purchases his own healthcare, through bluecross blueshield, for him and I, it was around 900 per month, where as most others that work for a large company either get it as a benefit, or it's substantially lower. One of our friends is a school teacher, aside from his being included as a benefit, he was able to add his two kids and wife to his plan, and it costs him less then 400 per month. He also happens to have the exact same plan as we do, from the same provider. The only difference is, he belongs to a larger pool with bargaining rights, where as were "two people" and the health insurance companies could really care less about insuring us. I'm sure many of you will read this, perhaps partially agree, but still disagree with the idea of universal healthcare. I guess no matter what, someone feels they get the short end of the stick. I fully agree that the US should have universal healthcare and I fully agree on what you said. I don't like that people are rejected from getting healthcare due to "preexisting conditions". I don't like how much money the health insurance companies make, nor the monopoly.

Yeah, I attempted to epoxy it but no luck. Shit happens. Going to wall socket it this friday It's exceeded my expectations.. give me a sub that'll do 150's at 34 hz on 2x it's RMS and sound awesome.. lol not many. For sure man. That's what will happen on 2x RMS at 10-15hz below tuning. Let me know what you pay for the recone through PM if it doesn't get posted. I might take my 15 and recone to a 12 and add a second one.
-
That's what I said. I told the owner to take a picture of how low the coil can sit.
-
Why not to buy PSI This recone is a month old... Coil is easily bottomed out with little force
