What ever it is expect it to be alot as we are talking 3 inch's peak to peak as well as a 5 stack magnet. As a ball park I would even be willing to bet on 14 inchs.

It is a single voice coil, one positive and one negative. No wireing involved, 2 Ohms thats it. If you have two then you are wiring two voice coils so it will either be a 1 Ohm load or a 4 Ohm load. If you don't understand check out www.bcae1.com

Think of it as two cars with the same motor but different suspensions. Although they will have very similar performance in the straights (but even then they won't because you get better launches with stiffer suspensions), when you unleash them on the twisties is where you will really see the differences. Maybe one oversteers and the other understeers. One may be jittery and the other might be neutral. I think the only way you will get an idea of the differences is to listen to each but they are not the same. Mike?

The company I work for has all it's stuff made in China and although it takes constant watching, your own in house quality control (as in testing and engineering here in the US) as well as 1 trip a month to China, you can get good quality out of those Chinese factories it is just a lot of work. Of course it's all about what he wants out of his own company. He may just wanna throw some candy apple red flames on, boxem up and ship em.

Just make sure he works to make a better product not a cheaper product. Don't chrome dip and ship it (this quote courtasy of comic genius of NGSM - I think). Also an amp that produces its rated power at 12v will undoubtably get the word out faster. And I am sure that some of the guys here can get you in touch with someone very very reputable to put the amps to the test. Then its just a matter of market penetration. BTW big ups to the fam bam I hope his business does well, but if you are raza then extra big ups, I love to see our peeps doing better and better.

Just like the title says. If my woofer can handle more that what my amp can throw at it, how would I go about setting my gain to absolute max without clipping? If you say you can hear it then please record me a sample and send it to me so I can hear it for sure. Thanks jerry

I am shopping for Koni Yellows (for their warrenty and on the fly adjustability) with Ground Control Springs (probably 600's all around) because their the best and lower like mad. Your amp choice will be determined by your woofer. If you have a dual 4Ohm, you can wire it for 8 or 2 Ohms so that means you need your amp to provide the recommended power at those ohmages. Then it is a choice of quality. You can get a Yugo, a Toyota, a Ferrari.....etc. You mentioned Hifonics so I would probably call that a Ford. So get a Ford that makes 800-1100 watts at 2ohms or whatever brand that provides that kind of power..

Man you have the RL-i's looking so good that it is an injustice to the RL-p's. It actually looks like the RL-i's are your premium line. Of couse if this is gonna take away any time from the RL-s then forget it.......the site looks great!!!
