Hi, i thought of trying some stuff from sundown audio. I need two setups: 1) The first one is for my girlfriends car and i thought of using 2 e8's powered by one saz 1000d, wired to 2 ohms is 300 watts per woofer... 2) Second is perhabs for me... I have one BTL 15'' right now powered by one RFt2000bd... But this lil beast takes too much space in my trunk... If i use 4 e8's on the t2000k strapped down to 1 ohm thats 500 per woofer, is that too much?? or should i better use 1 nightshade 12''?? Or more e8's? I don't want to go bigger than 2.5 - MAX 3 cubes after port replacement...! I hope you guys understand my bad language and can help me buying equipment from Sundown. I'm very interessted...... Another thing is that i live in germany, but if i pay the shipping this shouldnt be a problem. Made this with Fi already with no problems.. Patrick

hmm but i want some space left in my drunk. the current box is 3.6 cu and is very loud, what is the minimum i can put the Btl in?? i'm also a lil bit scared of hurting the car too much... idk if this is just nonsense...!?!? i thought of putting 2 Fi Q or SSD 10'' in 2 cu ft, what you think of that? and whats the better choice, the q or ssd? i need some good output,too

Hi, Just get my new car in 2 Werks and idk which woofer to choose. I want 1 12 inch woofer with good bass on the body ( sry dont know how to say) It's going in a 08 bmw 330xd.. I was quite happy with my old 15" re sx but want some better ;-) Though of fi or sundown... What ya think?

Hmm, What are good 10" woofers with High Output but don't need so much power like the btl? I like to go low,too, is that possible with such small woofer and enclosure? What you mean by building a enclosure that makes the btl "faster"?? And whats the min to put in my btl 15" fully loaded? Patrick

I want a loud, fast playing bass with 1 12" woofer in a ported enclosure.. I have a 15" btl in my current car but the Box is too Big and the btl plays not that fast Idk if a nightshade will be faster..??

Hi, just got my BTL yesterday :bigclap: So i throwed all the stuff back in the car to start running the BTL Here's MY sweety :bigclap: Sorry for the bad quality, only had my iphone with me... 15 Inch Fully Loaded D2 4 Canal for the Front System and one Kinetik 1400 ( will be added a 2400 soon ;-) ) Everything wired up... T20001 waitin for work.. Ok lets give her some... ( Speaker cables need to be cut, i know... soon as the box gets carpet...) Lets see how much space is left... well nothing :-) 5 Cubes tuned to 30 Hz... ( box calculation done by bladeice...) More pix soon if you want... And it's a 2006 BMW 320 touring ) Patrick

He gave me blueprints like this: BIG THANKS FOR EVERYTHING GALACTICMONKEY !!!!!!!!!!! :clap: :clap: :clap: :clap: :clap: :clap: Bought the wood yesterday and built the thing today.... And here some pix: There is also a woodstick from the top to the down.... My Nickname "40" or fourty :-)) Gonna wire this thing up in an hour or so, lets see how it works... but you wrote me this: If you say it has to be 19" long this doesn't just work at all because if you say the Box is 21" deep and minus 1" for the wood and 19" for the port the rest is only 1"!! If you saY it also has to be 2,5" wide in the Back it should only 17,5" long, or not?

yeah idk am, i know and trust you, but somethind dint work out... the guy with the termlap thought it's perhabs because of only 1'' space between end of the port and the back wall (sry i don't know better the words...) is that possible?? here's a picture of what i mean if you don't understand anything because of my english The board in the middle is of course cut out, just for strengthening the construction.... What went wrong?

Today was the big day with great disappointment.. I was at my dealer and we made a termlap run.. Only 141.9, 1 db less then with mY old sx 15 :-( The problem is the Box Tuning, at 46,47 hz!!! I need something with 40 hz for my car.. Anyone here who can help me with designing a new enclosure??? Patrick
