you know, i don't know if there is anything left to be said about mike. he is truly the man when it comes to customer service. many kudos go out to mike for establishing and then maintaining that same level of customer service from the beginning. my original rl-p purchase was an awesome experience, one i wouldn't trade for the world. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

if i liked the glock....that would sound nice. the 27-2 does sound quite nice though, i think that's what my roommate is wanting. i've never wanted a glock. only ever fired one, teh g22 in .40s&w and my s&w model 410 was the better gun, as far as accuracy goes. the 410 is gone, replaced by a glock knockoff, the s&w sigma. and it shots fine. however, after reading two different reviews on the g21sf and handling it with the regular g21, teh s&w m&p and springfield xd (all in .45), the g21sf had the best feel. it fit my hand and the wife's hand jsut fine. (she actually made the final decision, as i was also leaning towards the new taurus 1911 and a p-o lda 1911 in commander size) and the thought of having 13+1 of 230 grain .45 slugs in at one time just makes me giggle. (is that bad?) the 27-2, wow. we looked at it a few weeks ago, and i passed. my son then decided he wanted a .357 and wanted it to be a s&w. he was thinking a 686 with 6" barrel and 7 rd cylinder. he wants to be able to hunt with it. so we looked. while there, i showed him the 27-2, and he fell in love. it was marked at $425, about $150 less then a 686. so i thought why not? told john i wanted to put a deposit on it to hold it and he marked it down to $350 for me! couldn't pass on it then!! now i'm in debt for around $700 for a few more weeks, lol. not too mention, the wife had to have a new stainless front dishwasher! now we have to replace teh stove and frig. that should land me a couple more firearms, hehe wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Lemme see here....do they have horses fight to the death? Do they use electrocution for training purposes? Are they hung, or drowned when they don't perform? the answer to these is NO pucking WAY Hose racing, hell even dog racing is much different than fighting. Just like in humans there is a MADD difference between a boxer and lance armstrong. Diff training methods, payouts, and such. J in true pit fighting, the fights aren't to the death. never were. it's always been the back street pits, the basement arena's where dogs had to fight to the death. even in hogging, it's not the goal for the dog to kill the hog, but rather to subdue. same with dog against dog. but to some, that wasn't enough entertainment. and you bet your ass they use electrocution in horse training. they even use it for training of police dogs. (shock collers with settings up to 50k volts or so). i myself use a 100k taser to help in training. hit a dog one time and from that moment on, the moment they HEAR the thing pop, they stop and listen. and i'll wager that horses that don't perform are indeed being eaten as purina. maybe not drowned or hung, but euthanised nonetheless. however, because it isn't done in such a brutal manner, none notices. and it would be easy to have a vet say the horse had a broken fibia or some shit. and lance would kill most boxers. very few boxers could hang with lance in his training. and even in boxing, it's the core that matters, ie: legs, lungs and abs. how many boxers are going to match lance in those areas? while i get your point, you're also a bit underinformed. in truth, dog fighting isn't much different then a pair of boxers going at it, save the boxers are there by choice. if done right, as soon as a dog backs up, doesn't show aggression, or lays down, the fight is over. and in those cases, the dogs don't get anymore hurt then someone going 10 rds with mike tyson. ask evander holyfield, lol. (sorry, just had too) do i support dog fighting? nope. the dogs i raise wouldn't even be allowed in a pit due to their color. and we breed for minimum aggression, amongst dogs and people. we let their natural protection instinct dictate their protective attitude, no added attention or training is given in that regard. anyway, Vick is guilty or he wouldn't plea. if he was a real man, he would have told the truth from the jump instead of thinking his posse wouldn't have turned. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

lol, i'll do that. you are the absolute first person to ever have that opinion that i'm aware of. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

hello. hehe really not much to say. but i haven't been in here in a bit, so here's a token post. oh, i have added to the firearm collection... a kel-tec p3at (for the front pocket, it's a 380) a new for 2007 glock 21sf (sf stands for slim frame. it's narrower then the old 21 and it has ambidextrious magazine release, another 45) and a 70's s&w model 27-2 nickel plated 357 magnum with an 8 3/8 barrel. this on is actually the son's. i'll get pictures soon. teh kel-tec i own and carry already, the other two are currently on lay-away. kent doesn't wnat no credit card payments, lol. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

i agree with jordan..i think Vick has more to do with this then even his plea states. he's going to provide the bankroll for the gambling but not share the winnings? he's going to bankroll the kennals and not share in any proceeds gotten from the illegal fighting? so, he's jsut throwing his money away? maybe he's writing the kennals off at tax time, but i doubt it. fact is, if his involvement was less then stated, why plea out? and he'll play again. guilty or not, one can't deny teh fact he is the most athletic player to play quarterback. he is, and never was, a real quarterback, but with his ability to move, he didn't need to be. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

100% agree!!!! There are some cars to do stuff like that to, and some you dont. IF it's a true SS, PLEASE dont tear it up. There arent that many left. x3!!!! glad you're loving the ICON's, but no sub is worth tearing up a true ss!! i think even mark would i agree.... i hope so anyway, lol.. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

my enclosure is tuned ~34hz, and 2ft^3 net for a 12 ICON. it does a great job on rock in that enclosure/tuning. this thing is meant for the lows, but should perform fine in a higher tuned application. my suggestion is throw one in a low tuned box and beef up the midbass/range area of your system and you'll be a very happy camper. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

SSA going to help out Realmofexcursion.com
mrray13 replied to Mark LaFountain's topic in News, Announcements, and Lobby
hey, glad you guys are helping out over there. like ngsm mentioned, i love the site, hate the forum there. take the captain, he'll set a few screws tight!! and i agree with mark about admin powers. way too much to screw up. set it like we have here, super mod, mod, etc, and things will be different. even here, super mods can ban indefinitely, but not IP ban. and this site is about the best run site out there (save for me, but someone has to stir shit, hehe), tis why i call it home!! way to step up mark, aaron!! cudo's bro's!! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee -
Question About Setting Gains?
mrray13 replied to Schmuck's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
and the arguement ends now, please. get back on topic or get out of the thread. personally, i found an older oscope, paid $20 for it, and rather enjoy setting my gains by sight. while the ear method works, as does the dmm, IMHO, it's jsut not as safe or as accurate. with the scope, you can SEE teh clipping, and to most people, seeing is believing. like mentioned above, i've used the dmm method, set an amp with it. later with the oscope, same settings, i realized jsut how bad i was clipping the amp. turned it down to jsut clipping, and guess what? didn't lose a single tenth on the meter. and the sub no longer stinks after ten minutes of hard use. my ears never really picked up on the distortion playing music, but it sure did with tones. but then again, that's jsut personal experience. and a bit of scientific back up, as i metered the truck before and after. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee -
Looking for a few bass racers
mrray13 replied to Aaron Clinton's topic in Sound Solutions Audio (SSA®)
so top people don't compete with single sub setups? seems i remember teh gentleman with the pt crusiser only has one (though i could be wrong). and he is pretty much a top dog. while i understand what you're getting at, don't downplay the signifigance of a single sub competitior. what's more impressive, 4 subs averaging 149.9 or one sub doing the same? or even a pair of subs averaging 139.9 or a single sub doing the same thing? jsut a thought, that's all. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee -
good, save for a nasty fucking summer cold that has me coughing, dizzy and feeling like ass. overall though, nothing that i can complain about! adn ryan2, send me those pups, my dogs are hungry, hehe. jsut kidding. i need to get a pic of dozer up, he's the blu/brindle male we kept from the litter. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Looking for a few bass racers
mrray13 replied to Aaron Clinton's topic in Sound Solutions Audio (SSA®)
next year i should be able to do some. the ICON is a lowend beast ported and i think it'll be awesome for bass racing. i do have one question, why the urge to have people run 4 drivers? while i wouldn't be competing in the big number classes, it's hard to keep the single one under 119.9, lol, and that's still a class. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
