$550? kewl...i paid $600 for mine when i got it!! ride it some first, it's a classic. if i remember correctly, the cb i had was the first motorcycled with 4 cylinders AND 4 carbs(hence the model name cb 750 k 4, with the 4 meaning the 4 carbs)..mine also came with the 4 into 4 exhaust, dorky as hell...was switched for a tuneable vance and hines racing header and pipe.. it's also kewl how urs has mags, mine had spokes... like i said, they are fun to ride and it doesn't take much for them to keep up with modern rockets, for at least the 1/8 mile anyway..hehe..but they are really heavy.. again, enjoy it and good luck with both rides!!! nothing like riding the scooter wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

panel saw...it's called a panel saw and gnome is right..cnc router is about the only way to get perfect cuts.....whenever there is a human involved in the measuring and cutting, there will never be a perfect cut...but close usually is close enough, and 1/8 isn't much.... but hey, i build vehicles for the mining industry, and we are allowed 1/4 difference..our motto..."ain't nothing a grinder can't fix"..so what do i know?!? :thud: wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Building a System for Street B (Orion)
mrray13 replied to KickinAudio's topic in SPL & SQ / Fabrication
for sq, it is generally the rule to have the sub and port on the same plane...that ,in theory, puts them close to 180 out of phase, so that the sub and port would "fire" pretty much at the same time, and achieve as little cancellation as possible. for burps, and certain vehicles, that rule may not necessarly apply.....99% of "crx type" boxes are exactly the way kickin is building his box.....sub up, port facing the rear of vehicle...and they are louder then the sub, port on same plane theory. hope that helps... btw...good luck kickin....can't wait to hear what ya did!!! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee -
