kinda hard to beat that kit...lol i was going to suggest audiopipe..but u ain't going to get the kit that cheap...hehe i'd second the motion to buy that one...maybe swap in a ANL fuse or a circuitbreaker... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

i think an 8 in the $45-$70 dollar range would be cool... BUT..an eight liek the proto's mike's running would surely be more. i mean my rl-p12 tips the scales at 30pds, and those eights are heavier?!?! awesome!! i think componets would be the next logical step..both soft and metallic dome tweets and from 5.25 up to an 8 for midrange/bass... and if the new and planned subs are anything like i got...ya know i will be wanting more!!! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

something like the SS? what truck and what competition? if ur's is like mine (x-cab)...running a pair of the rl-i tens sealed, maybe ported would be easy. they get loud, sound awesome, take more power then rated(don't go overboard, mike is conservetive..lol) and just flat out look good. ur an sq kinda guy, so the way these subs handle transitions will really impress u. also, they play low, real low. i can't get over how low they can get and how good they sound doing it. and the fact that large boxes isn't necessary is a big plus. also, they are made by tcsounds, so u know the quality is there..just look at the uber...lol. i think that's enough right there, but if it isn't.. then look at the owner..mike is just an awesome guy. a real pleasure to talk to and to do business with. he is extremely knowledgable and more then willing to share that knowledge. he's also honest. he'll tell ya if he thinks ur going the wrong direction in how ur trying to use his product. not too many will do that. put all that together, throw in that they are priced extremely competitively with other manufacturers..and u have a winner IMHO. also, like i've said before, by far the best sql type driver i have ever owned. period. i think that pretty much sums it up....hope i did a good job...lol wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee ^^^that should seal the deal!! hehehahahahaheheha wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

aol?? chit..i forget to log in...lol.....my msn is on all the time... btw..just for giggles.. how much u think i charged to design(thanks tirefryr)/build the box and install everything?? $130....of course he paid for materials..hehe....i think he got a decent deal... and the carpet is a deadon match......looks...ummmm.....factory...lmao wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
-
i agree...IMHO, the pr line of subs, speakers and amps jsut can't be touched for looks, value and performance. toss in the four year warranty..and BOOM....u have a winner!! simply a great line of product all the way around... hope u checked out the pics!! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

(just to stir a little traffic) today, i will be building a box to go in a x-cab ranger that will hold three memphis pr12's. it will be a shared chamber 6ft^3, with 62.5in^2 of port and tuned to 35hz. these will be pushed by a mtx 1501d bieng shown 2.6 ohms (the subs are dual4, will be series, parallel), so i'm guess around 1000-1200 wrms. i've already replaced all four factory speakers with memphis pr5x8's (major improvement) being pushed by a rf 100a2(yep, the 5x8's are bridged left and right side [they are 4 ohm] so no fade) all being directed by a eclipse h/u. i'll get the model number tomorrow. pics either sunday night or monday night. now, my silverado will be losing it's single pr10 in favor of a pair of 10" hpo's. they will be pushed by a memphis pr500d. i'm trading the pr10(which i paid $50 for) for one hpo, the other was given to me and is currently at memphis getting reconed as the surround was dry rotted. the 500d i'm getting for $160 and doing (some which i have done) installs. pics will be forthcoming as well...... that's about it for now.... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
