ok..here's what i figured out.. these are external dimensions.. 15.5" tall x 34" wide x 18.5" deep port will be 14" tall x 3" wide x 25.1" long this will roughly give u a net of 3.5ft^3 tuned to 34hz. using 3/4" mdf mike, whatcha think? 00maxima, if that won't fit, lemme know...and let me know where it won't fit.. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee lol wow me and u got the similar results with a given space...but to be honest mrray...my design will give him alittle more output...my port is 48sq inch yours is 42sq inch...and its and inch shorter than yours...but we both have about the same total cubic space of 3.5...i'm impressed...what program do u use by the way...i use bass box pro 80 bb6p...lol.....ur also tuned a lil higher then i am...the output will be so close as to not matter a bunch... loud and low..the only way to go!!! mike...ur welcome! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

i am for sure leaning this way as well...my ported box is about done.... also, geoffry(spl) at ca.com doesn't like his 15 xxx sealed in 2.5ft^3 with a viper 1200.1. his words.."it gets loud..but that's all..sounds clean..but doesn't change the air pressure" so i wonder why noone really spoke of this sooner? i guess they were afraid of being flamed..no offense 97... it's a nice sub, it's just looking like it's a bit picky... mike....a 2k wrms sub would be kewl!! but u gotta lemme demo the proto!!! btw..no thanks needed...ur product "spoke" for itself!!! as does ur customer courtesy! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

the pics are on the primary installer's camera. he is supposed to let me download them unto my computer so that i can post them around. it is sweet...we should be able to hear it for the first time today... i still don't know what h/u is going in...but here's another list of parts.. front...memphis sq 6.5's rears...memphis sq 6.5's subs...memphis m-class 8's amp...memphis mc1300d..the big belle satellite radio...xm.. majority of car is brown breaded, as are the sub boxes and panels. all new wire was run for all speakers. the belle is attached to the bracing on the fuel tank. here's the gimmik....no useable space was lost. for anything. other then the amp in the trunk and tweeters in the front doors..the car has lost zero room..and the subs are not IB. i'll let ya know how it sounds..lol wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

well...hell.. i just got home from helping my bro-in-law have his dog put to sleep. his dog was a 70pd pitbull named BigBoy. he was 1/2 of his breeding pair. he was just about 18 months old. he was poisoned. they have been trying to keep him alive for the last 4 days, but the brain damage was too much. he was just zoned out and almost turned on the family twice. my b-i-l, couldn't watch. they are going to do an autopsy later this weekend to find the actual cause of the brain damage. there is an outside chance it's rabies, but the vet thinks poison because bigboy's skin was just falling off. yeah, his skin. he's in a better place now..no more pain. on a lighter note... we are doing a custom install in a 2004 gto...all memphis sq componets, m class subs and a big belle to push it all. well, long story short, a customer was in the bay while i was working on his car. he looks at the gto and see's the big belle strapped across the fuel tank and asks what we are doing to the car. after a quick tour, he asks why the subs aren't inthe trunk...so i tell him.. "behind that amp there is the gas tank." me "gas tank? what's that for?" him *shakes head in disbelief* me " it's the gas tank." me "yeah, what's that for?" him *does a quick doubletake and is completely dumbfounded* me " it's where u put the fuel for the car" me " oh..oh yeah.." him everybody in the shop is looking at me looking at him.. true story..i will swear on any stack of bible's or whatever u hold dear... here's his sign" i guess it shouldn't have been any surprise he had just bought the store special...two 12" sony subs (the black coned ones) and a pre-fabbed sealed box...$99 wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

IMO, facing doesn't change the sq as much as it changes the spl. especially if it's a well built enclosure. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
