work car i can make loud...lol... i'd love to do a t-type or gn..but $$$ is prohibitive..of course my local stereo dealer friend ownes a parts gn and his turbo t-type (a gn in a color other then black,not to be confused with a regular t type) is pretty sweet. plus his salesman's dad owns two gn's..both 87's..one really hyped up (about 600hp or so) the other fairly modded (about 450hp or so) the weaker one (can i call a gn weak??) is for sale, $16k..includes a complete coustic audio system.. but i dunno...i'm also thinkin 240sx... or square bodied supra wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

time to do some research lol..... anyway, i want the vette bad..but don't know if the insurance hike will be worth it.. what do u guys think... 1987 corvette (needs paint, interior work and motor work, asking $6800, worth about $3000) 1987 bmw 325se (all i know is it's a manual and looks decent inside and out,asking $4500, worth about $1600) 1987 monte carlo ss ( looks good from the road, unsure of year, have no idea yet what they are asking or what it's worth as i haven't gotten mileage or really looked at the car) any other suggestions? i'm looking to trade my 2002 suzuki maruader 800..worth about $4500... ideas please..lol wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

nick, the thing is..it runs fine after it's started...no hesitation or anything that would lead me to suspect timing..i dunno, i almost believe the computer is somehow off on startup pressure and isn't sending enuff fuel at startup..pulse voltage could have something to do with that,correct? ryan..it's not distributorless like the lt1 and up..electronic yes, but with a distributor. maybe a coil problem..hmmm supa, i believe the crossfire was similiar to chrysler and gm's earlier attempt at crossing the intake runners (can't remember name) with dual carbs. the right side carb fed the left bank and vice versa, i believe it was an attempt to lengthen the intake runners making for a higher charge velocity. i also believe it worked better with the carbs then it ever did with the vette...it only lasted from either late 81 or early 82 to 86..after that tpi was born. hey guys, u realize we are breakin the rules by actually haveing a constructive conversation?..lol...just making sure.. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

i'll check on the monte today... the bimmer guy is asking $4500 on a car that according to kbb is ony worth about $1600 the vette guy is asking $6800 on a car worth at the most $3800, and i wouldn't pay that..it needs paint and interior work. also, it has a hard time starting..either an injector or timing is screwed, but just at startup...btw, being a 1987, it's the first year of tpi... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
