    RL-P voice coil change?

email mike directly for a faster response....but i imagine he could indeed hook you up with a d2 recone, if it'll fit the d4 motor (not sure if the gap is the same) some of the smarter people here (like neil above) could clarify that. of course the two other options he listed would work. but i think i'd want to keep it all SS.... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

    SSA ICONS!

i dunno about that pole vent providing comfort on cold nights....metal gets pretty damn cold itself..might cause some shrinkage. awesome subs nonetheless!! i need a 15" version for the trailblazer. anyone want to buy a 15"cvx, lol? wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

    Happy Birthday Jimbo!

HBD jim!! what's this barefoot bignose ramos speaks of? sounds like we need pics of jim with said bfbn.....lol.. have a happy and safe one bro! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  4. you have to absolutely make sure the electrical is up to par. while not as big an issue on later 4kws, early ones would flame out (quite literally) from low voltages. it'll do rated power, or close enough to not matter, but does indeed need current to do so. overpriced? i guess that's up to the individual. not too many 4kws that size, most are that long and alot wider. and some don't have the customer service memphis has (or had). as an previous employee at a shop that used to predominatly sell memphis, very few namebrands customer service is as good as memphis's. kicker bieng really close. good luck with the install, and make sure you can keep voltage up. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

08 F250 super duty king ranch install

man, those pioneer slim subs suck ass! at teh old shop we installed three in recommended enclosures, only to pull them out later and replace them with either the clarion version or the kicker version. we also had to put a pair of subs behind the seat of a king ranch crew. ended bieng a pair of 8" memphis mclass, adn they had to be squeezed in there. luckly, the guy didn't have the fold out floor, the two amps went under tehre. good luck! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

08 F250 super duty king ranch install

have you tried to poly fill teh box a bit? it'll give the sub the impression it's in a larger box and should help gain some on the bottom end. general rule of thumb is 1pd of poly for every cubic foot of box space. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

    2006 mini cooper s

lol, no clue....look to be 5.25 or 6.5..but i can't go by grill size as the tweeter would then be about two inches... steve, part of me wants to..but then i think i'm hearing the tale tell signs of blown speakers. i don't know, lol. what i do know is the car is comfortable on short-medium trips. we went to paducah, ky today, roughly an hour away and that car is just plain relaxing. no effort what so ever. btw, while there a lambo rolled by. i got next to it at the stop light and tried to goad the guy into a race, lol. coward backed out at the line, then i rolled on him at 30mph!! (don't think he really tried, but you could hear him motoring up for a bit) yeah boy!! i know my dick is large when i can challange a lambo in a mini cooper s and he backs down bitches!!!!!! lmao wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

    2006 mini cooper s

know what's sad? reading it today, i get the original post. last night i must of been smokin and not knowin, lol. i forgot about vj walling off his mini. oh well... still up in the air about this car and it's HK sound system. i think the subs are in the rear quarters, as the panels rattle like hell, but not sure. i need ideas. part of me wants to keep it stock, BUUUT.....part of me wants more. here's what i have currently that i could use.... kicker ss 6.5 componet set kicker rmb 8s kicker 400.1 memphis memphis belle (da big belle) SS rl-p12 SS rl-i8 mach5 maw 12 SSA ICON12 la audio x2 12 audio control eqs clarion 8s (re re twins) and if i wanted to do a h/u swap, clarion dxz955mc wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

    02 Extended Cab GMC... Ideas?

yep, sure have. love em both. there is currently a cvx15 in the wife's trailblazer, loud low beast! depth might be an issue, but they'll handle 750wrms easily, tend to like a bit bigger box and like to be tuned a bit high. but they will get loud! can be a bit muddy (due to liking the larger box), but output tends to make up for it. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

    Box Design help.....

i'd also recommend the independant chambers. offers a level of protection and the added bonus of bracing the box. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

    02 Extended Cab GMC... Ideas?

ear loud, tune low, low-mid 30s..ie 34hz or under. my previous set up was just such a thing. i would recommend a pair of ICON 10s (or similiar product from SI or SS) and 1500-2000kwrms. sundowns 1500d would fit the bill. or a single 12 in the right box. also, as you can tell, people here believe the sound should be in the vehicle, not outside. wanting to be heard a block away isn't what the majority here is after. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Yes i understand, but Im not the kind of person to showboat my music to ppl I dont know. I use it for functions like after softball games where we all hang out and drink, and for other group activities outside the residential areas. Thanks for your help. no problem. i'm a basshead, so i like it loud too, lol. you seem level headed, so don't stop asking questions. i've built a lot of enclosures to go under those seats and am more then happy to pass on whatever i can to help. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

    2006 mini cooper s

ryan, from what i gather, BMW just owns MINI. they are still built in england. of course, there is a BMW tag under da hood, lol. steve, the trade was sweet. if they only knew, lol. they will have to sink a little money in that truck to make it presentable. MK..it's a friggin blast to drive around, lol. the supercharger and exhaust note definitely have a presence. john, ummmmm no. lol. while that would be trippin, no will do. but i am debating some kind of upgrade. the ipod interface is cool as hell. recharges the ipod and you control it through the radio/steering wheel. the rear panels need deadened, STAT! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
