it was all in fun...i think the rude comment over here was the real trigger... josh is cool and knowledgable, but from what i've seen in the past, can be very touchy. it actually surprised me that he didn't really go off, which is kewl. i think in the back of his mind he knew it was just funnin, but he was guarding his yard. i wouldn't have actually posted anything except for the dufus calling ssa chit sucking association or whatever...and xover thinking IHoP was for pancakes..lol...we all know it's for poop..lmao anyway, it's all good now...hell, i even typed my apology before i read all the replies and saw supa's..lol. oh well.. it was in fun and i hope everyone realizes that now. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

i tried that line on him..lol...he didn't buy it..lmao but anyway, ur welcome mike! anytime! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

those last two questions... email [email protected] he'll be able to answer quicker..also, include ur zipcode..lol... and the big thing is getting his signature on the cone...ask for it...he loves that!! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

again, a waste....lol... where supa is flexing..a 48" run, i would brace a lil, but only if the port or something couldn't act as the brace. after talking to james, kevin and greg (who's about usless for building)[team sweep] and even shane (ex-team sweep) i brace just only when necessary and then just enough to do the job... the best thing u can do for ur box is round the port corners, or at least get rid of any square edges..but most of us knew that anyway..lol... sorry for hijacking ur thread ryan..lol... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

either amp would work.. if using the smaller amp..go a lil larger...for ported..i'd suggest somewhere in the neighborhood of 2.5-2.75ft^3 tuned to 34 hz with 40in^2 of port... if using the bigger amp...run 2-2.25ft^3, same tuning and port area... if going with the tens... smaller amp...1.25-1.5ft^3 per sub (2.5-3ft^3 total) with about 20in^2 of port per sub (40in^2 total) and tuned to 36hz bigger amp.... .75-1ft^3 per sub (1.5-2ft^3 total) with same port and tuning... either way will get ya loud and low!! and ur welcome wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

some ppl at SIN are rude...like they are a level above most ppl. there are a few there that are pretty cool though..jlaine, bigbassman, ss3079 and tirefryr to name a few..lmao... but anyway supa, i got ur back in the beast..lol.. and acid, i agree...8000's are indeed too nice of a sub to deface, especially with an re sticker...talk about ur overrated junk..lmao wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

it was a criss meter. it is acurate to the old TL within a tenth. so about 145 on the new TL. that still aint bad no, it's not! pretty decent score, actually. good job..lol.. and i agree, we should've gotten some xplode pr0n as well..lol wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

depends on how much room u have to give up... the one 15 will definitely be louder. but it is deeper and thus needs a deeper box. the 2 10's will be loud in their own right, but give up alil in the surface area department, as well as a lil in the xmax department. the 15 will need about 1.5-2ft^3 to go sealed, the tens from 1-1.5ft^3 for the pair. i would recommend about 750-900wrms for the 15, the 10's about 1000wrms, though u could get away with 500wrms for either! either one with at least 500wrms will run with the w3's and IMO beat them (but i have no idea how they are enclosed or what vehicle), though from a model vs model standpoint..i'd think the rl-i's are closer to the w6's and the rl-p runs with a w7. as to fiberglass vs mdf...use mdf for as much of the enclosure as u can..and fiberglass for everything else... like any nice straight areas, especially if they are long, need to be mdf..but u can still do a custom baffle adn slope ur subs or whatever. glass would be nice if u have a slopey floor and trying to get all the air space u can. hope that helps some! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

bracing, blah, blah,blah... i've got three world champs who'll argue bracing is pretty much usless. just need the bare minimum, too much actually starts to drop ur scores... that's why the box in my truck for the solo only has two braces...teh port walls act as the other two... no flexing noticed at 2.8kwerms or so.. real long, flat stretches do need braced, i agree...but out side that... IMO anyway...lol ur box still looks pretty good.. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

nice..lol.. u kinda had him out gunned..lmao.. what mic btw? wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

It's about as useful as reading the rest of the content in this thread. what u tryin to say?? wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

he said in IHoP no bracing.. cheap box solution to go in his old beater he sold someone.. which is way overrated anyway...only need to brace if subs are super heavy (like 50pds each) or ur going to be throwin major power at them (like 5kw +) wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

i made a box yesterday for a 96 silverado x-cab... put two 10" L5's under the seat...ported..lol.. pain in the ass... slot port...1x14...tuned to 40hz had to cut ovals in the top of the box (subs are downfiring) for magnet clearance and then fiberglass over the holes to close them up.... with carpet on, looked really sweet.... took about 6 hours start to finish..including running to town to get resin... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
