hmmm, wish some of us others could have a go at the IXL, lol. the maw12 surely performs far better then it's price would suggest. definitely the best "budget" driver i have ever used. adn i use the term budget very lightly as the only thing budget about the maw, IMO, was the price. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

huh? wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

obvious disadvantage, no street classes without alot of work. obvious advantages...wow. deadning will be way easy. those style cars can be very loud. running wires shouldn't be a problem. fitting just about anything in there shouldn't pose an issue. and that's pretty much all i can think of after just briefly looking at the link/photos. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

That's precisely what I did, and us victims have banded together to attack with unity... hahaha. Turns out the guy had another account on the site, "selling" 4 Collosuses and an Fi BTL as well!!! Another user was sucked in by that, bringing the total up to 5 of us. Beware of usernames "FiKingPin, BassInYourFace, and celingleung", and email addresses "[email protected]", and "[email protected]" Somebody was able to track the IP to a physical address in Etobicoke, Ontario. The IP was also associated with a few email addresses with names in them that matched the name on the paypal account - last name "Mazza". We think it may be a young guy at his parents' house. One of the the members of our "task force" has emailed all the accounts associated with the IP, outlining the entire situation and the options for dealing with it: By tomorrow, this person must 1) Give us back our money in full or 2) Send us the items we paid for, or 3) Do nothing (and we will involve the authorities). The same member that sent the email is related to a policeman in the area who said he definitely wouldn't mind paying a visit if need be. I grow more optimistic by the hour. I don't know if you guys are still around, but I just wanted to let you all know that thanks to the information within this post.. and the ip tracking that you guys have done, you have helped me!! I KNOW WHO HE IS..Karma is a nasty thing.. so you guys can only imagine what is coming next!! so, who is he? post any and all info you have to help these guys out.and to protect against any future scams. and good luck to the OP and the 5 involved. hope it gets worked out for ya. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

that would look good. trim it to match the doors. i agree with the post by shavenranger. distribute the wires across all the banks, with extra jumpers on teh opposite ends. should help with voltage and looks. can't wait to see this with the sundownz in there! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

he nailed it with this post. and the rl-p should have a 2.5-3" peak to peak movement. and that's walking near the edge, IMO. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

and now, we need tires on the trailblazer. wtf?? damn. and the cheapest good tire so far is $584 m&b. yokohama geolanders. 245/65r17. now all i need is for the scoot to need tires and all will be right in the universe. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
-
tire size is 205-45 r17, at least h speed rated. looking for all season, prefer treadwear over performance, though performance can't be mushy. run flats aren't needed and budget is about $400 at this time. i have a hook up for most brands, so budget doesn't need to be spot on. current tires considering are.. falken ze912 kumho ecsta ast yokomaha prada spec 2 and in that order as well. yay or nay? what would you buy and why? thanks folks! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

couldn't you just save the video to your computer and then just assign it (whatever the correct terminology is) as your screen saver? that's a pretty sweet idea, btw. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Stop tempting me. 325$ shipped and they are yours. I'd pick them up or make Tom deliver them this summer. if i still had a truck, i'd do it for ya. alas, they won't fit in the cooper, lol. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

that's pretty freakin' awesome that is indeed pretty sweet. matt's not going to like the curved mainspring housing, lol. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

simple answer, yes. box is going to affect overall powerhandling, but for the most part, if impedence is correct, it'll be a fine match. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

lol, x2! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

not for sure where or when this happened, james herren sent it to my phone, hence the crappy quality. anyway, figured it would be good for some laughs. and yep, it's a 172.2db run. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Hifonics Haters
mrray13 replied to cccullen's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
this one post sums up ssa as a whole. not that the manufacturers that are here need anymore incentive to be a qualtiy product, but being associated with the forum only helps. in both directions as well. it means alot for the forum to be associated with the companies that are here. btw, i own a nemesis series hifonics amp and only have a few gripes about it. the letters have never lit up, which speaks somewhat to quality. and while it'll do more then rated power, it clips like a mad dog doing so. i still run it to this day, but have it set by o-scope and dmm to roughly 450wrms of it's rated 750. and it is still clipping, although mildly. again, that speaks to it's quality. they are decent inexpensive amps, but there are better used products out there for similiar money. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee -
gotta love that!! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Big question is why was thilo selling Mike's product? Because Mike's product is actually just remarked TC products so in the end they are Thilo's products. Not with the SS logo... Thilo makes the entire driver, SS logo and all and ships it to Soundsplinter. The only difference between an SS sub and a TC one is the color of the cone and the logo on it. and the tc-9 based rl-p is changed up a bit from the standard tc-9. the rl-i is an exact copy of the tc 2hp(iirc). and as scott mentioned, even though tc is the OEM, it doesn't give them the rights to the SoundSplinter name or product built for them. if thilo is as shady as some have him pegged to be though..... email mike directly at [email protected] and see what he has to say. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
