Frankly, for what you guys do, a mere check for a couple hundred bucks is an insult Hell, their paychecks are even more insulting. "Mrs. Smith, I regret to inform you that you son has been killed in combat. Here's a nice pin and a properly folded American flag along with a traditional military burial. Thank you." i hate saying this, but... our military is all volunteer. these folks knew going in they weren't getting rich, might get shot at and would have to do this for a nation of people who might not appreciate them. and while that might be wrong, they still volunteered. not making excuses, i feel as though the goverment, as well as the people, owe these folks a great debt. but facts are facts, and they did volunteer. don't forget, that once they get in the civilian sector, they are given some perks. not too mention some good benefits while in, they have some good ones while out. after they serve, and god willing, they are 100%, they can damn near write their own paycheck. of course that depends on their field choice, if they followed up with education, etc, etc. but they will get extra points for whatever they are applying for due to their service, as they should. don't get me wrong. they service they provide, the duty they do, the manner in which they do it (seems like our boys/girls are always handcuffed in combat one way or another. why do we have to play by the rules when the other side doesn't even acknowledge there are rules in the first place??) and the qualtiy that they deliver, they definitely deserve more then they get. no arguement there. all we can do is voice our opinion in the elections by voting in people who actually support the military, and ever little thing we can do for the service folks here at home. i ride in the patriot guard. we escort both homecomings and funerals, and play barrier for those idiots who want to degrade our heros. it isn't much, but it's something, and it's something i'm proud to be part of. ok, enough rambling. sorry for the book. to j, helo and whomever else on here who serves,....thank you. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

http://www.usspeed.com/SBV/Chrysler-300-30...34Pa38Ta38Rahj0 i like that one http://www.usspeed.com/SBV/Chrysler-300-30...34Pa38Ta38Rahj0 or that one http://www.usspeed.com/SBV/Chrysler-300-30...34Pa38Ta38Rahj0 or that one. all three are close, but i'm digging that no trim/border look. would be even cooler with no emblem. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

@ 3.65 a gallon I would stop and fill up my car immediately. It would be like me getting a 3000d in the mail, I would actually be happy. 3.79 a gallon for 87 and rising. it's funny like that. currently, if i see $3.55 or so, i stop and fill up. to be honest, i'm fine with the $3.50-$3.75 a gallon, as it should have been there years ago. i just don't want to see it go any higher. and i'm out for the morning... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

yeah, yeah...no one rides for free. lol. especially at $3.65 a gallon. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

cool. i can live with that, as i'm sure the forum can too, lol wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

work.....dojo. and that's about it. up at 5am, go to work, there till 3:30. drive home, get cleaned up, go to the dojo till 9pm. earned my yellow belt in two weeks, one day. of course, it gets harder as i go, lol. stretching muscles/tendons i didn't know i had, lol. and i've done it with the three twisted cervical vertabre and a dislocated rib <--best way to describe it. haven't gone to a doctor yet, but i felt a pop and the damn thing has hurt since. can't sneeze, cough or take really deep breaths. though in the last couple of days it has gone to burning more then hurting. aww, the good life, lol. no complaints though. the martial arts is a blast, working out with mini me is priceless. he's a blue belt, and we've got a bet over who gets to black belt first. i've got a long way to go, hence the time at the dojo. btw, this month is my first tournament. hopefully i'll get some pics up (the flash in my camera died, adn it's not user changeable, wtf??) will be competing in sparring this go around, go figure, lol. anyway, anytime u need, just call. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

who bought gas yesterday? just throwing this out there, but yesterday was an organized gas strike. i didn't buy any, i bought last week. if they could truely get everyone to strike, it would help. while i believe that it would still be $3 a gallon or so, i can live with that. it goes any higher, like diesel, and damn. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

well, i guess i'm learning some self control. the wifey told me i could buy this 6" ruger gp100, but i passed. for now anyway. i'm wanting another 1911, or a black rifle. or a 4" 44mag. also, today went and had the trailblazer looked at. might be trading it in on a 08 crew cab silverado. but that's up in the air as of now. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

AWESOME ryan1!!! congrats!! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

hmm. guess I've never gotten into the wavelength side of the equation. However, given that, shouldn't a truck with less airspace that's maximized with it's proper wavelength still be louder than a larger vehicle maximized with it's proper wavelength, given the same equipment, because of less air? i would say yeah, or there wouldn't be walls. but then again, most walls are huge surface area, power. shizzon, even in my dodge, with subs foward/ports forward, everything louder with a window open, door open. i'm sure vehicle plays a role, but in every vehicle i've owned, or played with, something open meant louder, regardless of box placement. care to detail your install/ vehicle a bit more? i'm curious. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

cool. i was just curious. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

And you don't even realize how much I can put down yet either I think I've got an idea, and its a fricking hell of a lot. yeah, it is. and i don't think we even tried, but i believe, no, i know, he'd outdrink me, lol. but instead of drinks, i'll take bail. i'm sure we'd need it going by what he attempted with you. and then drinks, lol wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

looks good, but i have a question.. are they going to be called E8s? you aren't worried about possible confusion with e-duh? and who knows, ben might try to claim he designed these too with the E8 model name. lol. and that's a good price. wish i didn't have to buy hook swords, hakima pants and another set of sparring gear. i would surely grab one just to have. black on black has got to be sexy!! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

my step dad quilted, most was by hand though. much respect for a younger person doing that kind of work. i had no patience for it. i've got some from him before he died a few years back. thanks for sharing, again, much props for something like that. i know that shit ain't easy. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

#1 and that's also the one i installed on a 300 at the old shop. the car was silver though. but it looks pimp as hell in person! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

i love the "you have less volume to pressurize" response. that's actually the issue. only it's not. ready? i'm not all that technical, so maybe if i lay it out in simple terms, someone can come behind me and explain the physics... first, by being in the smaller cabin, you do pressurize(i know that's not the right term) faster. but this causes you to lose spl after a certain point, as well as being able to help. why? cancellation. you are also shorter, which means the cycles are hitting each other faster, bouncing back off teh glass into the new notes coming forward. when you open your door/window, the old notes are basiclly released, thereby eliminating most cancellation. and that's what causes the vehicle to be louder open, compared to sealed. the mic/ears only hear the new notes coming forward, and they aren't colliding with the majority of the old notes bouncing back. and no, it can't be fixed completely. the secret to dealing with small cabins, jsut like big cabins, is finding the wavelength that is needed to be the loudest. cabin length is more important, IMO, then volume. unless one is walling off, running huge subs and massive power and completely sealing up the vehicle for no flexing to overpower the cabin. in street vehicles, building to the wavelength (or quarter, half or three-quarter wave) is going to be the key to being the loudest you can be. simply put, most street beaters jsut don't have the cone area or power to overcome and win by pressure. and even built to correctly, windows down/doors open will always be louder. IME anyway. hope that helps, and maybe ///M5 can explain the in technical terms what i tried to explain. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

bls btls mach 5 spls sundown nightshades icons grab between two and four of the above mentioned subs (in the biggest diameter possible), build the correct box and watch your blazer crumble before yoru eyes. assuming you have beefed up the electrical side as well, or it's all for nothing. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
