I could tell You all about a box for a trailblazer. i haven't put a tape to it yet, so i dunno if it will fit the TB, but the box it's in works real well in a durango..lol...and the wifey did make mention of putting it in the TB..... what would be kewl..make a totally removeable competition setup in the TB...amps, batteries and sub...including using a source unit outside the vehicle...then be able to revert back to jsut the rl-p and nemesis for daily.... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

but ur not banned here bonehead....lol..... so i'll help ya out... and anyone else needing 3g fbody plans..lol.. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

love the sub!! u should be very happy with it in the planned enclosure... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
-
trusting justin's math...if ur going to have 1.2ft^3 per sub and a nine.1 powering them, ur going to slam. in that car, ur not going to need ported. now if the 1.2 is before sub displacement (even if it's not to be honest) i'd recommend about 16oz of polyfill per chamber. at least to start. ideally u want about 1.25ft^3 net after sub per rl-p, IME. and the polyfill will help get ya there..in theory..lol.. but u have a potent combo going...ur going to love it in that car... and steve does have an iroc, but i believe it's a ragtop... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

probably jsut run around with no beats for awhile...but dammit...when this damn hurrican breaks, i'll be riding, not driving, so i'll have lots of time... anybody got an amp and subs they wanna trade for an 18" solo x?? and box that'll fit in an suv... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

ummm yeah.. i have a s18x, a rl-p12 and a rl-i 8 jsut sitting around. pretty sure the rl-p is going back in the wifey's new ride. i've sold my orion 2500d to by bro-in-law... so what do i do in my truck? i can get a memphis mojo amp for about $400...but i'm working on a pair of kicker 2500.1's for about $750... do i rebuild and throw the s18x back in there? do i trade the s18x for something different? 10's under the backseat again? a pair of 15's replacing the back seat? i have no clue..and i'm laid off, so i'm bored....i need something to do!! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

well im not exactly an audio veteran. im not even sure if it was 2 ohm mono. tho i did fry 1 amp already on this rl-p. im more than sure the one i have now is installed and wired correctly. i know its my car electrical system. i can check by testing my blinkers. when they blink in long intervals, the battery isnt charging. turn off the bass for about 5 mins, and theyu begin to blink at normal speed once again. Maybe its time to up the big 3. hey..sorry if i sounded harsh, i wasn't trying to be... but in any case, when u first had the sub wired, u had both positives together and ran to the amp and then the smae for the negatives, correct? if so, u had a 2 ohm load going to ur amp in bridged mode, which wasn't a good thing. now u should a positive from one vc and a negative from the other wired together and teh remaining running to the amp, right? if so, u are now showing the amp a 8 ohm mono load. (if u still have the amp bridged) u could have very well burnt something up inside the amp running at 2 ohm, even if it never showed any other signs of it...and that could be what's still causing the power issue... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

I can name like 5. *cough* MA Audio A/B class HK amps* cough* ok.....lol...u get the cuz u knew that and i didn't...lol wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

it's allgood man..lol.. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
-
in theory, yes... in application...who knows?? vehicle, subs, placement will all have an impact on which is the louder box... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
-
u see the part where it reads "2 ohm stereo stable, 4ohm MONO" by running it 2 ohm mono, u could have hurt ur amp and hence teh recurring power issues.... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

he's not in my state jim..lol.. and u referred him to me..bigboygrubbs ring a bell? wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Kent don't roll wiff nuffin less den tootowsand fitty. naw man. u gotz me all wrong...i'm down wid anytang at least twotoweloughtfoo..i mean, da scoot and da manz truck are both oughtfoo's.....da wifey only rolls da new shizzle u know hard hard it is to think that stuff out to type??? anyway, nick, i was jsut mentioning the year...that's all..i swear..lol.. i've got to figure out how to get 2.5 net ported behind da seats... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

looks really good there ryan! how bad does the trunk rattle? i put a ported ten in an alero with just 400wrms from a kicker 400.1 and it rattles like there is a pair of 15's in there....lol... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

my morning is good..lol..not great...too much damn rain..THANKS TO DENNIS!! (the hurricane, not the pennis here) oh well.... good morning wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

also, when u ripped out port, u not only changed tuning that way, but u increased internal volume..which changes tuning as well.... so shortening the port raise tuning...BUT..increasing volume lowers tuning..... hell, u might not of changed tuning too awful much.... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
-
no...in theory, same power, the 6ft^3 box will be louder due to the increased "effiency" offered by the larger volume..in other words, it'll let the suspension max out easier then the smaller box will. the small box will allow u to throw more power at the subs and overcome the large box "effiency". in that way, the small box will be louder and in theory have a "tighter" response for the transients, and be less apt to be "boomy"(because of the smaller volume) wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

yes, no, and yes... yes, if u series ur dvc 4 ohm sub, ur at 8 ohms... no, ur not at 4 ohm because ur not paralleling to another sub. regardless of mono or stereo, the impedence is determined by the sub, not the amp. by having one just one dvc 4 sub u can only wire in 2 ohm mono, 4 ohm stereo and 8 ohm mono. and 4 ohm stereo will give u the same power as 8 ohm mono. yes, that is how u bridge an amp...unless it's already a mono block. u need to get us the model number of ur amp as i still don't think it's a two channel amp. i have yet to see a two channel amp that is 2 ohm mono stable. at least rated. and ur car is going to love ya as ur only pulling about half the power (if it's two channel, quarter of the power if it's mono block) that the amp can make by running at 8 ohm. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
