lol justin....i've got a similiar story..kinda.. a few years back, like 17, i was playing in a summer coed softball league. one team had a HS softball pitcher. i batted cleanup... anyway, she struck out the first three guys up ( we were an all guy team, DeMoley). i'm up, top of the second, i'm down in the count 0-2, thinking i'm victim number 4, and a meat pitch comes along. i take her yard down the left field line. she strikes out the next two and forces a ground out. we get a couple of singles the next few innings, but no runs. top of fifth, me against her. result? fastball up side the head! the female dog tried to knock me out! so i'm standing on first, talking chit, when she tries to hit me with the pick off throw. (wierd league, we could lead off the bag before the pitch, but only if we were on first and no one else was on base). anyway, that gets me to second, but she's rattled. now i'm behind her talking even more chit...she throws another meat pitch to my brother, who promptly sends it straight back at her at twice the speed she sent it in. it hits her in the gut and actually drives her off the mound. the ball is on the ground, i'm on my horse and score. my brother stretches it to a double as they try to get me at the plate. end result? she turned out fine. but their relief pitcher sucked ass and we ended up winning by the ten run rule. if she would've stayed in, those two runs might have been our only ones. which means who knows who would've won, as they scored two on us in the first three. but i learned a lesson that day...lol....duck after hitting one of a girl. "hell hath no fury like a fastpitch softball pitcher you just took yard" we played that team one more time that year. she won that game, 3-1. our one run? my brother driving me in again after she walked me..lol...but i struck out twice. it was our only loss. and they were the only team with a female pitcher. female dog. lmao..she was hot too! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

quick funny story.... the state fair is in town (kinda, in duquion) and saturday night we proceeded to visit said fair. whilest there, we stopped by the baseball throw. u know, the one where u see how fast u can throw. well anyway, while waiting and trying to decide if i wanted to try, a young girl walked up. she was about 16 or so. anyway, she purchased her three throws, as did a few of her male friends. first male stepped up, threw three pitches at about 50mph, no where near the strike zone. second male, three pitches, around 60 mph average, a little closer to the strike zone. then she stepped up. the carny strted to haze her a bit. she jsut laughed a bit as her female friends booo'd the carny, then she threw the first pitch, underhanded. she hit 51mph, underhanded, with a baseball, from about 25ft away, jsut missed the lil square of a strike zone. second pitch, dead center of the strike zone, 55mph. third pitch, just outside the square again, 53mph. teh carny's jaw hit the ground. did i mention the baseballs were wet from the downpour we got less then an hour earlier? funny as chit watching everybody shut up and stare in awe as this little girl was throwing some serious heat..lol. while the speeds ight not seem all that fast, consider again...wet baseballs, teh 25ft to the target and they were baseballs. one slipped outa her hand, so he let her throw again (her third pitch, which i didn't count until she threw the good one) anyway, i was impressed...she jsut about smoked her male companions...lol..and she smoked the carny's best throw... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

i think a 3db attenuation on those tweeters would probably be about right...but since my knowledge of such things is limited, lol, i dunno. that might be too much. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

but i do think i need to attenuate his tweeters just a bit. i'm thinking about buying a pair of "L" pads to turn down his tweets, or maybe i oughta build a proper pair of crossovers.... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

i mean, the rack in the living room rocks, but it just isn't has crisp or clean as his...and that's just not right..lol wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

is the 1.42 before or after sub? if before sub, then subtract the .18 and u get 1.24...lol....which is what i i got earlier in this thread... it looks really good, nice and solid. i like ur thinking....build the enclosure, the sub will come. and with ur planned 600wrms, that ought to really sound sweet! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
