nanking is teh low of the low for tires, or so that's their rep. i dunno if you'll get anywhere, but i wish you look. it definitely looks like a manufacturer defect the way it delaminated. we have kumhos on the cooper adn so far so good! 1k+ on them and they are doing great. thinking about going nitrogen in them and the truck and scoot. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Don't need a garage, either, I did mine outside, in the snow But I don't recommend it... Waiting for BM'ers to pop up for sale around here And nobody I know is into European bikes, all the people I know here who ride are Harley folk... Usually Harley folk actually respect BM'ers though, can't say that about rice burners lol, yep we do. that and goldwingers. IMO, those are the only true bikers left, save for hardcore harley guys. beemer and wingers actually ride everywhere, no such thing as a trailer for them. the harley/custom trendies trailer everywhere and only ride for teh appearance. it's gotten so bad there is supposed to be a trailer built that will actually put miles on your scoot to help the appearance of a trendy being a real biker. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

um, that is a girl's bike lol...yes and no. yeah, a sporty is known as a girls bike, but that's not it's original intention. it was supposed to be the sport version of the big cruisers. of course it didn't turn out that way. but there are the new nightsters and a few others that don't look all that bad, and kind of have a retro look to them. but if jim wants to be different, that is definitely NOT the way too go, lol wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

nice pics tom... the leash on the wagon, classic!! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

it's gotten quite a few good reviews. slim package, lots of capacity and ruger finally got one right in the looks department, lol. downside for me is it's in it's first generation. just out, so reliability isn't proven yet. i don't think there will be a problem ( i pick up my ruger mkIII tomorrow), but with anything this new, you never know. ruger has also just come out with the LCP, damn near an identical copy of the kel-tec p3at. shouldn't have the issues has kel-tec has pretty much worked them all out as their version is on it's second gen. (note here, DO NOT buy a first gen kel-tec p3at unless you intend on doing a little smithing) other great options.. s&w m&p. can be had in 9, 40 or 45 and has adjustable backstrap to ease fitment springfiled xd like the m&p, a whole lotta options glock pistols, is there really anything needed to be said? most 1911 styles. way customizable, can be bought for as little as $500 or as much as you want to spend. that's is you want pistols. i didn't forget sig and h&k, but the above mentioned ones (save highend 1911) can be cheaper then most of the sigs or h&ks. but good buys are out there. revovlers? s&w, ruger and tuarus. in that order. throw in charter arms and rossi as teh back of the line. nothign smaller then a .357, save the new ruger .327mag in it's sp101 is looking like a good backup package. .357mag performance w lighter recoil? can't wait to get my hands on one. i imagine it'll be liek the .45gap round though. it'll perform at or above factory .45acp/.357 mag loadings, but won't be able to be honked up to +p or +p+ type loadings. the .327 is a new cartridge though, so time will tell. sorry for rambling. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

actually, that 2007 GT 1000 is right up jim's alley, IMO. and it's not a bad looking retro look either. and with 992 twin cylinder worth of ccs, that thing should move along quite nicely as well. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
-
those are pretty sweet, but not really jim's style. if he ducati... that 250 scrambler would work. i also like every one of the monster's. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

so you had to say it 4 times?? lol (i deleted the other three) sorry to hear about this, that sucks bro. hopefully you can get it squared away soon! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Very good point, works out as I'll have more cash available by then, anyway. What I'm looking for in a bike is...something not outrageous in price, something that'll last for a long time, something that's slightly quirky and oddball in a crowd The newer Triumphs look like a very good option, but they're still slightly over my budget (in the $4k'ish range). I realize something older is going to be more finicky and tempermental, but it's not like I'm going to be depending on it to get anywhere, and a goal of mine this summer is to finally clear out some space in the basement at my folks' place so I have a nice organized indoor area to do maintenance or if I need to fix anything. triumphs have always been kick ass. $4k for a good scoot isn't a bad price, and for that, there's lots of options as well. are you just shopping locally or looking online as well? wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Waiting for BM'ers to pop up for sale around here And nobody I know is into European bikes, all the people I know here who ride are Harley folk... and beemers hold their value like a harley as well. sad thing is, it's the wrong time of the year (especially with current gas prices) to be looking to buy a scoot. everyone is out riding, lol! late fall/winter is the time to buy. noone wants to pay for something just sitting in the garage. why beemer? i can see you on a 1200 sporty, and those can be had cheap. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

WAIT! prs tuned to 30hz and then ported maybe?? maybe?? wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

at the time the rl-s came out, it's coil technology could only be done in single 3 ohm. it's the first production LMS driver available. you'll have to check out the SSA forum here. it's an 18, but i dunno what they are going to call it or if they are going to include it in the ICON line. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
