poor bastage..he got owned all over the place....muhahahaha i wonder if he'll show his face in any local stores now?? u never know who's on the internet... i especially liked where he got owned on the mic...lol.. and i gotta agree with dj...town cars seem to be fairly easy to get loud, at least IME. they don't seem to be well dampend from trunk to cabin. the big thing is to deaden the trunk walls..those rear quarters flex like a female dog...lol.. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Sorry I took so long to reply. I was waiting for subzero to get back to me with the specs.(which they still have not done.) I did manage to get some dimensions though. 31.50" w x 15.00" h x 10.00" td x 18.00" bd The inside dimensions of the ports. 6.25"w x 2.00" h x 16.00" d Thanks for your help guys. assuming all 3/4" mdf....including the ports... ur enclosure will be 2.34ft^3 net tuned to ~36hz... not bad, maybe a tad big, but i say give it a go. set ur gains properly, as 1200wrms in that size enclosure is at the absolute max wanted. that can't be stressed enough. but give it a try... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Rainbows or DIY Front Stage to go with Rl-p for SQ
mrray13 replied to ///M5's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
watch those focals, if u get metallic tweets, they can get harsh under power (i only gave mine 35wrms), otherwise, they are indeed nice speakers... personally, i'd do the diy set. just to be different..lol....but that's just me... talk to upstage audio here about cdt's as well.... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee -

lmao..oh how true this is!! right after i got my truck, i had to rent a trash pump..anyway, the guy at the rental place asked me if i had a blanket to put in my bed to keep from scratching it....i looked at him, smiled, and proceeded to shove the trash pump in, resulting in some pretty deep scratches and one "WTF" look from the guy...hehe....i said, "it's a truck. if i wasn't going to use it as one, i wouldn't have bought it." i thought he was going to faint... and james, i agree with the z-71, fx4 and i love the dodge "off-road" nameplate..lol.. and they never see anything but road.. we have a guy at work with the rubicon wrangler...yep, factory with 31" goodyear mt-r tires, 4.10 cogs and lockers in both axles...he refuses to take it off road, says he doesn't wanna hurt it..AARRRGGHHHHHH..the most capable jeep to ever come from the factory...and he doesn't wanna take it off road?!?!?! how i wanna female dog slap his punk ass.... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

wowo..i thought this was a thread about the rl-i 8...lol... .6 for a rl-p 12? and 24hz tuning? wtf? lol.... anywya, mike jsut cleared it up, i'll quit my rambling... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
-
mike is 100% right...i love my rl-p in 1.25ft^3, wouldn't change it for the world...loud and low, even if there is a peakiness to it, i can't detect it.. smoked...u go small sealed, u'll lose low end extension...go low tuned ported, u'll be way happier...(or big sealed) wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
-
psycho...interesting idea...but i dunno..lol...if i could get the specs ont he box, he might be able to jsut do some internal changes, or port blockages...or something..lol.. 40hz is high, would result in great output, but at a loss of some of the sq the rl-p is capable of... we need some measurements, or a spec sheet on that box!!! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
