ok, well, here's the deal. i'm in contact with an OEM to manufacture recievers. these receivers will have the ability to go from car to hous to whatever without much work. they will also be able to be used like a walkman. that is, plug headphones into them. there is also the idea of including the programing with the receiver, meaning when u purchase the receiver, u purchase the programing. i'm in touch with both xm and sirius about how do achieve that. so there won't be a $13 per month charge to listen to it. one last kicker..there might potentially be a unit that includes both programs.... so, how much would u pay for a receiver where u'd never have to pay xm or sirius? with the features mentioned above? how much would u pay for a receiver that would receive both? wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

that test went all the way up to 2500wrms.....that test is the reason i got my orion 2500d. from what i gather about the brahma, the rl-p is very compareable. but i've got to agree, i think 4 cubes per would be just too much. 2.5 cubes max IMO. tuned low, like 30hz.... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

T.O.P. and i let out some frustrations at the gym.....doing "snap" (as the trainer calls it) flat bench press with a 4" board on my chest. 10 sets of 5..mixed with "snap" military presses, 10 sets of 5 and lastly several sets of dumbbell workouts... but i still have the urge/need to bash someone in the mouth.... otherwise... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

personally, i'd use his dimensions, minus the individual chambers. i would run a 4" aeroport for each twelve (or a single 6" aeroport). and aim it up with the subs. i'd also tune in the 32-34hz range. what is the net volume he's getting? so we can figure a port length. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

that will work for a 10 or a 12.... if it "sounds" too small after install, polyfill! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

howdy people! all this work and no play is making Kent a pissed off boy! Steve, would you like me to make a trip and beat about your friend's head and shoulder region repeatily with blunt objects (my fists)? James, good luck in your relationship bro! seems like you've had a string of bad here lately. hopefully your talk will help and get things turned around! anyone else need someone's ass stomped? i'm in a real pissy mood. otherwise... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

i think they will work if u go common chamber with a brace, and a shared port. tune in the 32hz area. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

nice! from the install to the review...good work! if u think they are loud now, lol, port em! they come alive! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

dropping the tuning and enlarging the enclosure will definitely help bring out some more bottom end. enlarging the port should help with some output. but u can go too large. and 100+ in^2, IMO, is overkill. will it hurt? probably not, but it's going to make for one long ass port. personally, between 75-90in^2 would be more then enough in the 5.5-6ft^3 enclosure. in ur situation, i'd go for the 6ft box, 90in^2 of port, tuned about 30hz. that should give u the lowend u are craving. i hope u have a strong midbass setup, because i think u are going to need it. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

i can see how car audio can indeed be a lifestyle, one that transends other different lifestyles...ie: ricers, spl competitors, sq rides, daily drivers, diy's to all out trailer queens. car audio is one of those things that can link , as well as seperate, many different cultures. from ppl who devote most waking hours to designing and building customs systems and rides ( like fishman for example) to diy'ers who browse the forums looking for the best bang for the buck. it's a lifestyle within many other lifestyles. a lifestyle within a hobby. one with many different levels and approaches. and i'll quit... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
