ok, i think i get it....the vx900d is one ohm stable. but if so, why list the power ratings like they do? 1 and 2 ohm max ratings..2 and 4 ohm rms....why be so damn indirect? anyway, the massive is a quad 2, so we couldn't use the vx900d anyway. not unless it was .5 ohm stable...lol...and even then, it wouldn't compete with the memphis mc1500d. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

and that is what? wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

no cops here.....might hang out on ebay for awhile. i just bought some billit flame mirrors for the scoot. figured since the paint is changed, might as well embrace it instead of loath it. before anyone asks. i'll probably have these before i get the scoot back...lol... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

tom, teh vx900, or whatever it's called is a dog. i didn't know PA put the peak rating on the amps. we couldn't figure out how in the hell 900 watts wasn't pushing the massive. so we look it up. we find out it's only getting 525rms @ 2ohm. that's weak..lol...so we put in the 1500d..and blam!! we gotz bass!!! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee wtf? i have a birthsheet for my VX900D that say's it puts out like 955w rms in fact: i understand your confusion..but look at this... this one rates at just over 600wrms @ 2ohm... so maybe they birthsheet the max output. i dunno. what i do know is that it was a complete night and day difference bro. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

the massive is decent. 1000wrms rated power handling, it's taking the 1500wrms extremely easily. not quite as efficient as a mojo (if you can call that efficient, lol) so it takes a bit more power to get it as loud. all in all, i'd give it a 7.5 outa 10. it's a great daily driver, boomer. more spl then sq, most people here probably wouldn't really use it. think of it as an eclipse ti without the pricetag..lol..or titanium cone. the jag looks sweet as hell on those 17's. it's got a great stance IMO, it's one of my favorite cars at the shop. jim, for once, i actually like the chrome fender flares/guards/accent pieces. whatever they are called. it goes with the car. tom, teh vx900, or whatever it's called is a dog. i didn't know PA put the peak rating on the amps. we couldn't figure out how in the hell 900 watts wasn't pushing the massive. so we look it up. we find out it's only getting 525rms @ 2ohm. that's weak..lol...so we put in the 1500d..and blam!! we gotz bass!!! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

the imaging is actually pretty good. the mids mounted in front of the seats are actually coaxils and the tweeters look look phase plugs. another interesting thing is that there is an 10" sub mounted under the front passanger side of the dash. so the sub stage is just about everywhere. also, i like the harley color combo. especially with the chrome accent. i need to get a close up of that part of it, as that is what really makes it snap. the emblem on the front quarters is also airbrushed. there is indeed alot of effort and time in this car. it just needs a little TLC to clean it back up and maybe tie it all together just a bit better. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

1968 camaro in the show off section. we didn't do the install, we jsut found out why it quit running. they thought the alarm/remote start had caused the problem....and for you IB folks, you'll love it!! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

the worse thing about black (any dark color, as you know, will draw heat) is that it will show any and all inperfections in the body work. you have to "stick" the body work and primer coat to make it as flat as possible and then black is the most beautiful color ever laid on a car. youjust have to put more effort into it. but the feiro gt has one of the slickest looking bodies of any small sports car. it deserves to be black! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

sounds like a pretty decent deal matt... remember and we want in progress pics too!!!! black FTW!! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

feiro gt's are a blast to drive..once you figure out the gas pedal is kinda hidden behind the center console. with drag radials and jsut a lil more hp, i honestly believe a feiro gt can lift the front wheels. the gt i drove was bone stock and at every stoplight it felt like it wanted to raise them! and go black matt! don't do maroon. btw, why fix any panels? jsut replace them. they can't be that expensive. and then you have a great surface to work with to lay down the black! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

the NEW FOR 06 kicker CSX is indeed a L7 motor with a compvr cone, basiclly. but like i just mentioned, it's new for this year. and head to head with an 06 L7, it's not as loud. it has the same throw with less cone area. 4 15" L7's would be intense!! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

well, i'm out for the evening.. gonna look at some pron that was jsut emailed to me by my b-i-l and then go wake up the wife..lol... wish me luck! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

loud pedal= throttle one of my favorites!! twisty thing=throttle for a cycle.. wrister= see above... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

instead of completely removing the board, remove just eh center section, say within an inch all the way around. in that way you increase volume (a smidge), don't affect structral integrity as much and you can still ahd the polyfill mike suggested. i think you'll enjoy the return!! the rl-p, iME, loves 1.25ft^3 sealed, absloutely loves it!! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
-
"dry xbl^2" as in being so clean as to not have the "warmth" that most typical drivers have from the distortion inherient in their design. personally, it wasn't so much that as that the rl-p jsut flat out dropped lower, was just as crisp and fast and almost as loud for less money. and the rl-p isn't as box picky. and tom, your right, the new XXX is SG technology, not xbl^2. if believe it's a version of sorts of LMS (they can't use LMT anymore) wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
