poor petey, giving ben his money.... Thisis the way I see it. The equipment I run does more than what it is supposed to. My NINe.1's bench tested at 1700 RMS on a .7 ohm load and the EU-700's are taking 5 times the amount of power they were designed for. I have had 2 friends have something go wrong with their products, one was an amp and one was a sub. Both were taking care of very promptly. I am aware of the past troubles with ED, such as stories of not standing up for their warranty, taking forever to deliver pre-orders and even sending out defective merchandise. I have never seen any of this personally so I can't say it did or did not happen. I am basing my evaluation on the ED I have seen in the past year or so. and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that bro... like i've said before, i'm not dogging the product, i'm dogging the person. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

muffs= too bulky nad the plugs are good for a 32db decrease. tehy don't protect against impact type noises, but then again, at a 32db reduction, they don't need too in this case. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

fudgein' brits. dude isn't british... he's italian(IIRC)...spent time in cali at the design school, where he learned english. also lived in madrid and of course, italy. growing up his dad had a saab, volvo and mini dealership.... and the beer can was an absolute, very last minute "hey, i forgot to design an exhaust for this thing" when they finished the clay models for presentation. at 4am, he was talking to his modeler and grabbed the dude's empty, cut it in half and viola'...instant exhaust....he later got in trouble for making the modeler do too much work on the design of the exhaust. yeah, i kinda paid attention.... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

well, yeah.. i guess in the ears is a better place when actually firing... but for storage...hehe... it's a great hobby, and like car audio, once you get started, it's easy to run out of money and you'll always want to improve upon it. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

and a few pics of the firearms themselves... family photo... s&w sigma .40ve up close and personal...loaded with 165gr FMJ s&w model 17 in .22lr. this gun is circa ~1960. it's worth more then the sigma and almost as much as the kimber. if it was a 5 screw, about $3k. but it's a 3 screw..so around $500. i stil have the original box and wood grips. ok, lol, enough rambling..lol...oh, have been shooting 36gr JHP in her...just thought i'd drop that 411... my father's day gift, a kimber custom II. it's currently loaded with 230gr FMJ. and this thing will shoot sub 2" groups at combat distance (~ 7 yards) straight outa the box..woowhoooo!! that's a seven round grouping too! maybe not match quality, but for putting two in the chest, yeah, it'll do. the kimber is more accurate then the sigma, which will do ~3.5" groups. now i haven't messed with sights or other ammo. and this is offhand, not bench. but i'd wager the kimber wins in anycase. but the sigma is good enough for the wife to put two in the center mass! wow, i'm rambling..lol... next purchase...s&w 629 in 4" with magna port. that's .44magnum POWer baby..hehe then the boy gets a 9mm. jsut not for sure what one yet. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

try a box similiar to his xxx box.... 4 cubes @ 28hz will hit the lowest notes, but might get a bit muddy. the higher tuned smaller box will more then likely get louder and still sound pretty damn good with a SId2 in there... i ran the proto in 2.5ft^3 @ 34hz and was impressed... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Kimbers are REAL nice yeah...i absolutely love the feel of a real handgun..lol.. hold my .40 sigma in one hand loaded and the empty kimber in the other..lol...kimber is still just as heavy... composite guns are nice for carry, but nothing says "you're screwed doc" like looking down the working end of a good ole 1911! pics a little later as i am off to put the first few rounds thru me new sweetheart! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
