i love our cooper s. we are talking about adding another one to the family and letting the boy have the current one. it's definitely a big, fun, fast and quick go cart. and with the 6 spd, it's just too much fun. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee I've always thought those would be fun little cars, but I'm not sure how practical it would be for me. I'm 6'3" so not only would I question how well I'd fit, but half the reason I got my SUV was so that I wouldn't feel like i'm lifting myself off of the ground every time I get out, or vice versa for getting in. That's a long way for me to crouch down to get into every day. With my Explorer I basically slide right in without having to drop my hips. I love it. i'm 6'2" and 228pds. i fit fine. the doors are huge, the seats go waaay back and it doesn't give off the feeling of being as low to the ground as it actually is. my son is 5'8", and sitting behind my wife, he has plenty of room. in short, it's not a family car, but can do a short bit of duty and it's not as hard to get in and out of as one might think. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Winchester white box is only $30 per 100 rnds at Wally world. If my 1911 wasn't in pieces right now I'd pick some up. Probably will still pick some up. Ammo prices are only climbing with the price of copper. I quit buying Blazer unless I can't find anything else. Eventually I'll start relaoding so I usually collect my brass. Can't reload the Blazer Al cases. Bass Pro had Hornady JHP for $17/25 for .45 and $18/25 for 9mm. Got 4 boxes of each last night. Going back today to pick up a plinking gun. Trying to decide between the SIG Mosquito or a S&W 22A. The S&W is a standard .22 target pistol complete with full length optics rail. The SIG is built on the same platform as all the normal SIG handguns so I think it would make a better practice pistol. Need to find someone local to sand blast my 1911 frame so I can Gun Kote it. Replacing a lot of the wear items and bringing it away from GI spec a bit. Replacing the trigger, the mainspring and housing, the grip safety, the sear spring and adding an ambi safety. Been shooting so long left handed with a right handed gun that working the safety on the SR9 the correct way has taken some getting used to. Got new grips for it last night. Pachmayr rosewood panels with the rubber grip panel that wraps across the front strap. They look really nice. Much nicer than the cheap plastics that came with the gun. Need to finalize my Brownells order with all my parts. make sure it's not a first gen mosquito, heard stories about it not being reliable. i've wanted one since they came out, but the early version steered me away. i just recently picked up a ruger mkIII for a plinker. the targert version comes with a rail to add on, which i did, and it currently sports a barska red dot. i might be trying to wheel and deal for a walther p22 though. add another plinker!! the blazer al i picked up for my mandatory 40hr course to be an LEO. not worried about reloading it, and on can't even find WWB for a .45acp that cheap here locally. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

http://ammunitiontogo.com/catalog1/product...23-556-fmj-ammo $.20 a rd before shipping....and in my saiga, bear (wolf, whatever) is good ammo, lol. it'll shoot anything! maybe not sub-moa, but it'll bang plates all day long! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

only problem with shotgun for home is recoil. and for a beginner, that recoil can spell the end of shooting. that said, most everyone has shot a shotgun at one point or another in their life. ammuntiontogo.com is your friend! i just picked up 500rds of 45acp (cci blazer aluminum) for $165 shipped to my door. got it in two days. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

the full size in the g30 would only be for emergency use, the standard 10rd will be in place. also, by using the full size w/out sleeves, i'll have even more capacity for the primary. meaning in case of a large shoot out, i should be good to go, lol. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

only use the tip of the finger in SA pull, in TRUE (meaning not the DAO stuff claimed by glock, s&w and other striker fired firearms) DA mode, you want the finger to be on the trigger at the first joint. you can still squeeze, and it offers more control due to the higher pull weight in DA mode over just a tip. a tip in true SA mode (which is how most DAO polymers, read striker fired, actually work IMHO) is better due tot he fact you have more "feel" in the tip and because it's a much lighter pull, the tip is plenty strong enough. dem beats, look into the XD, or any pistol that offers an interchangable backstrap (XD, m&p and certain h&ks to name a few). that should go a long way into fitting your hand. the h&ks, IIRC, also offer interchangleable grip panels to thicken, or thin up, the grip. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

I test drove one of those bad boys, I beleive non turbo, but still daamn! If "felt faster" than the 911 s I drove. The 911 was so civil when you slam on the gas the cayanne. It was used with low miles, and out the door for cheep due to some jacked dash. Who ever owned it must have had plenty of heals on the dash from the looks of it. Slammed you into your seat if you pushed the race button. =) pulled a 22yr old arabic hottie over in a cayanne s. it was registered in her name too! gave her a ticket because she didn't speak a word, we had to talk to the male. damn muslims... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

not only hit, but i'd steal it!! i'd sell my soul for a c6 zr1 underpinned version of that ride! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

i'm going on a sub compact search next. witht he new job, a little more backup firepower will be greatly appreciated. i'm leaning towards m&p in at least .40, though possibly a glock in .45 so that if need be my full size mags will work. thoughts? no XDs for me. don't like the grip frame. regardless of backstraps. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

The "X"con 12" prototype has arrived
mrray13 replied to Mark LaFountain's topic in Sound Solutions Audio (SSA®)
the cf dustcap is cool, but at the same time, the ICON did come out first and kinda set the tone for the SSA look. i think you should for sure go back to the blue logo, and besides, boobies always look good! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee -
looks like an awesome build! can't wait for finished pics and reviews. good work and good luck! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

missed that. good catch. one will need cactus power to push that thing, lol. a friend is on team cactus, james herren, and the subs are the only thing he won't run. at least not right now. still hooked on the solo xs. but then again, kicker has been very, very good to him. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

certain states do require you to register your firearms. illinois isn't, but we have to have a FOID card before purchase/ownership. so depending upon which state chad is in, he may indeed have to register his guns. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

ok...be interesting to see how it all plays out. they need to do the auptosy live. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

http://www.cn-cactus-sounds.com/10inch-subwoofer.html unless special built, not cactus sounds, see above. not saying he wouldn't special build one, but his standard subs are triple stacked. any other news to the identity? wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

awesome helo!! chad, no bad reviews that i've seen on the beretta. no prior bad experience with any beretta either, but i'm not all that sure about new ones. if past track record is any indication, it's all good. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Audiopulse Epic 8" Enclosure Questions
mrray13 replied to audiophyle_247's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
the .17ft^3 sounded just fine in room, more then enough for the power it was getting. in car was a bit different, although it still works. will the larger ones ///M5 suggested work better? i'd lean towards yes, he's a bit more anal about sq then i am. the biggest ported i built for the rl-i8 was 1.25ft^3@35hz. i can't remember port size though. it got very loud, and even took 1700wrms for a bit, but was definitely peaky. to be honest, .65-.85ft^3 net, tuned low to mid 30s, should be a great enclosure. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee -
Audiopulse Epic 8" Enclosure Questions
mrray13 replied to audiophyle_247's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
he's on here daily. just drop him a pm, he'll give ya the specs. basic rundown.... gross enclosure size was over 3.5 cubes, because of port. net size was well under one cube, lol. my sealed box for my rl-i8 is .17ft^3 net. box barely big enough to hold the woofer. IIRC, ///M5's ported box is .65 net. which is in the ballpark. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee -
sounds like a plan to me!!! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
