that was being easy on him..lol...he's way too young and inexperienced to make some of the bold statements he does...especially without his own testing to back up what he says... i'll put it this way.....i know of an enclosure that is constantly slammed with 10kwrms +...holds a pair of 50 plus pound subs....all single thickness..and he's a multitime world champ....but then again, he tests every chance he gets... i'll even go so far as to offer some of the advice i've heard him offer.... unless your going wall, ie: one real large piece of wooden realestate, double, triple baffle isn't going to help as much as you think. especially when you need all the airspace you can get and stay under a windowline. but again, what does he know? he only does mid 50's with a pair of tens....lol wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

thsoe things happen. i understand how you feel, but you have to understand that metal does dent. i'm sure it wasn't malicous or anything. like mentioned by denim, it won't affect the performance any at all. strictly cosmetic... hold your head up bro, you made a great purchase... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

oh, young grasshopper..how you smite the wise ramos...lol.. but you are indeed wrong, in certain cases. liek ramos, i have seen several competitors gain several db, not jsut tenths, by going with a single, almost unbraced baffle. it's all in setup... you have many things to learn yet, one of which is that testing is the answer to all your dilemmas. one of which is that, like the old cliche goes, sometimes too much of a good thing is far worse then not enough. like ngsm mentioned..test little one...then build for keeps.... and never, never, never, NEVER (did i say never yet?) doubt ramos...he'll forget more then you'll ever learn, and i'll wager on that. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

"OH SNAP!" Looks like shot from Motor Trend or Car & Driver. shit, even the sky is smiling in this one..lol... i love those wheels on that ride, it is sweet... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

chris calm down..you too elias... simply put, chris, your first reply made it out to be like what was suggested wasn't even remotely possible..but until you've tested it, how do you know it won't "act" like a flh? personally, i think he's on to something because if you look at the majority of all prefabs, wht shape do they take? a sloped front. is it design or necessity? also, i won't get into if it will or if it won't too much as i know little about horn enclosures and how they work. but i enjoy reading someone's ideas or thoughts on how a particular box/setup could act. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

tomorrow, wifey willing, i will be running the harley inthe 1/8th. afriend ran his vtx1800 into the 8.4's...so i wanna try and beat that....problem is two weeks ago a 23 year old, just returned home from iraq, motorcycle racer died after losing control after tripping the beams at the end. seems like he got into a wobble while slowing down, smacked the guardrail and decapitaited himself. now the wifey thinks i'll do something similiar...thing is, that's the first fatal crash there sincie the track opened up in the late '60s.. oh well..you only live once..hehe... i'll post times saturday..woowhooooo wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
-
not at that speed..lol... but ya know..after about 120 or so, it starts to feel the same. of course the fastest i've been on a bike was a speedo read 155mph.... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

what kind of welding do you do? how'd you get into that? i've been wanting to learn how to for the longest time what would you recomend as a good way to learn? MIG..stainless, carbon, galv steel and aluminum TIG..stainless, carbon, chrome moly and aluminum Stick...stainless, carbon and galv steel. i live by transcraft trailer's...look at a semi hauling a flat bed. if it says transcraft, i built them just like it...lol...that's how i started. small town, big employer...it's kinda like the military around here..every one serves there..lol... how to learn? take a course. learn the basics..and then throw it all out. grab a machine and practise. the course will get you started, but actually doing it will get you good. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

My bro-in-law welds stainless for a living, which makes me really want to open up an outdoor kitchen consulting/installation company. i've welded on just about every metal you can think of, with just about every kind of weld you can name..lol...SS is awesome to weld on though. it's soft, but it lays sweet.... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Doesn't lay for chit when I try Not much practice though and I only have an Oxy-Ace torch. i hope your using the oxy/ace to braze and not cut SS....it'll just melt.. and i've never really brazed, but they say it's alot like TIG..gotta make sure your adding enough rod to get it "dime" up... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
