When you're driving at dusk or dawn, look at all of the cars with a headlight out. I do this a lot, and this is no joke: Usually 4 out of 5 of them will be a GM vehicle less than 5-6 years old. I know you think, so what, it's a headlight. Well, initial quality covers the whole vehicle. If the headlight is out, who knows what else is not up to par. I drive an Explorer. You can find a flaw in everything if you look hard enough. that indeed is no joke at all..... its the driving light one is always out. and i can give you a list of stuff that goes bad on chevys... ready! fuel pump. thats on on pick up trucks tahoes subs 20k-80k no crank no start.. ECM must be re booted. popping in the steering.... I cam shaft to steering gear must be replaced. also thay will need shims under coil springs 5k-for ever. thaoes pick ups subs a/c blower motor wire shorts out, melts also restiors in the switch make the fan blow very very weak even on the highest setting...... 10-k 60k .... all thought the blower motor when working right blows HARD! very nice a/c low pressure cut out and vacume trap door will shut the a/c off when it wants to.... always before 30k clutch, 10-15k noise from tranny un explained anit thieft, 80 miles - all miles anit thief must be replaced duramax..... can not be left running like a normal diesel pistions shattering block cracking and i have seen that on trucks from 65k -165 k and i have yet to see a dura max motor last over 175k.... bad battery within a year... thats just a touch of the info i deal with on a day to day..... i will never own a chevy... i didnt wanna rag on them but yall made me.. ps.. i was raised a chevy boy........ and became a lincoln man.. at the age of 18. yeah and i can rattle off just as many ford issues... power windows don't like to roll up hatch supports are broken and metal surrounding them is trashed. loose steering 1500 for 4 cats headlight buckets leak, cause constant blowouts and on any given day, i see more fords towed then chevy or even dodges. blah, blah, blah........ there really isn't mcuh difference. and right now, chevy owns the intial quality for trucks. even though my truck had to have new rotors at 5200 miles. it's the first time i've had to replace something on any of my new chevys. don't get me started on what had to be replaced on my 01 ram. dunno about texas, but in illinois, it all but doesn't matter if the right vehicle info is on the ticket. you take it to court, the officer shows up, the judge asks if the defendant is the one who was driving and commited the offense listed, the officer says yes, you pay the ticket. wrong year, wrong color, wrong spelling of name. doesn't matter. that's kinda generalized, but hopefully you'll get the point. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Nice You will really like the A6 for sure. I think you'll like the 340hp out of the R/T as well our charger r/t (patrol car) has zero lowend. teh crown vics pull alot harder out of the gate, but the charger is extremely smooth on the top end. easily faster then the vics, more refined, but with the lackluster bottomend, definitely not a "fun" car on patrol. even my z71 jumps on it out of the gate and IMO, even the truck's torque curve is too high up the rpm band compared to my 04. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Thats straight up horsechit. I'm not sure how the law works in your area but apparently it's based on something else other than actual law. In most places they can't pull you over for something you did the day before(unless its criminal). Where I'm at if the cops here see you but don't get you, then see you again later w/o the system on, they can't ticket you for it. I should know, I went thru this from a rookie cop and the judge threw it out because of this. But yes, tickets suck, that's why I only bang on the interstate and my bass amps are switched on the remotes. The previous incidents did indeed plant the seed. this cop knew to look for the OP and knew he was going to be loud. again, it's the officer's discretion whether or not to execute the stop and or issue a citation. if this cop feels he should write a ticket everytime, well, that's up to him. also, bumping on the highway can get you pulled over as well, depending upon location. meaning if you're inside city limits (and said city has a sound ordinance) at the time you were bumping on the highway, you are getting pulled over. if nothing else, it gives the officers PC for stopping you in hopes of finding a bigger ticket in wait. bottom line, you don't want stopped? don't give any reason. oh, and if you are in illinois, the vehicle code allows for ALL vehicles to be pulled over. there is a statue in the book that essentially makes ALL vehicles in violation of something. i'm sure most states are similiar. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

your car has some to do with that. that gas tank doesn't help the sound, lol. the sw8100 is also the LMS driver, IIRC. which makes it closer to the rl-s then the rl-p. and the LMS isn't all that efficient when compared to teh underhung rl-p (iirc, it's underhung, lol). if my memory serves, you should notice a difference in switching from teh 8100 to the rl-p or the ICON. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

rl-ps don't model well, lol. and i never trust what the program says, just way too many in car differences to say for sure. what i will say is this, the eclipse subs and the rl-ps are cousins. amongst other things, they share buildhouse and cone material. the icon is the outsider. paper pulp cone, different buildhouse, amongst other things. the icon and rl-p just have really good people behind them. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

the rl-p is good with anywhere from 1 to 1.25ft^3 sealed, at least IME. i loved my rl-p in 1.25ft^3, LOVED it!! a lil polyfill and boom!! teh ICON would be an awesome choice as well. personally i prefer the rl-p sealed over the ICON, but the ICON is still a great choice. i just love my ICON ported, lol. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

what were the cooper's drawbacks? (save that you drove the auto, tisk, tisk) can't be room, especially if you are looking at a crossfire. i'm 6'2" and fit just fine. if backseats are just for grocieries (my son rides in the back comfortably behind his short mom, he's 5'9". we have gone 4 deep no issues. i've plenty of room to scoot forward), then the car is perfect. they hold their value, we are averaging 28mpg combined, with very spirited driving.
