no onboard xovers? hmmmm....i didn't notice that.. yeah, it'll answer the phone for you. it has a built in microphone and it'll play the opposite end over you front speakers, automaticlly muting whatever you were listening too. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee -
The sweeps we will do will be more than that. Need to make one sweep for every measurement point, 3-10 actually if averaging. We will see how your panels bend and at what freq. that would be cool to watch...... and the demoiition derby is on tonight at the fair...can hear the motors now... yay..fuckin rednecks.... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

nothing is impossible...i have a friend who rolled his civilian h1 (yep, a hill helped), it landed wheels down, and he drove home. you couldn't tell he rolled it. but you stated they are almost as easy to roll as an xterra, that's why i jumped in. they aren't even in the same league. sorry about your friend... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

i have yet to see the screen other then in pictures, but as soon as we fire it up, i'll try and snag a pic. the knob is thick, (like mine..hehe, looks sturdy. it's a neat piece is an ugly sort of way. lol wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee -
the rl-i is out of the TB..still in the tl (if the boy doesn't want it, tom it's yours, we'll work out the details), teh rl-p is retired until i can figure out how to use it ht.... so what's in the tb??? a brand new 12" L7 baby..lol....yep..and it's loud...going to get a friend to come over and meter that baby!! loudest sub to date in teh TB, the rl-s at 136.6 legal. the lightning audio did a 130.5 in the same box off the same power. the L7 is in the same box and getting the same power,hehe.....the rl-i8 did a 128 legal. i'm thinking hte L7 is up there with the rl-s... no, i never did meter the rl-p... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

ummm, no...lol... it's a hot rod magazine project car, IIRC, that might be available as a kit..or something like that.... do a google search..you'll find it...it's insane. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

if you manage to roll one, you've accomplished something. and you'll need a hill to help. or an extreme 90* corner whilest doing top speed, which IIRC, in a military spec h1 is about 65 mph... and the suspension in this one feels like a truck. it's not mushy..lol.... i'l bet a month's pay i can roll an xterra 100 times easier then an h1..... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Unbiased speculation on the upcoming TC-SMT

daMan, devil... when i say ignore the t/s, i don't mean jsut throw away. like man mentioned,to me, theya re there for reference, a starting point. everything, as you devil alluded too, everything changes once installed, power applied too..etc. i'm no engineer and won't pretend to understand half of what you guys do. but i do know that whatever is on paper is hardly ever the case in car, wall, home. paper says it's agreat sealed sub, but it performs awesomely ported, or vice versa. i do think these need put to the test, as for their price point, they are up there with some heavy hitters. not shallow mount, i have yet to hear an truely awesome shallow mount. the clarion version being the best to date. i'd love to snag a pair of these subs and play... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee -
you guys see the LS7 powered solstise? hehe..i want one... anyway, there are quite a few of them running around here now, and i like them. already tuner parts popping up for them...i day if you like it, get it. screw these guys and their eurotrash cars... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Unbiased speculation on the upcoming TC-SMT
mrray13 replied to flakko's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
i say ignore the t/s parameteres..since when does a tc sub model well? everyone puts way too much emphasis on paper..real world is completely different. one thing i do agree with though, devildriver hit a great point. usually people who are after saving space are after saving a dollar. this will be an expensive option, but hopefully one that will get noticed and chosen wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee -
i honestly don't think $200 is asking too much for that setup. i have yet to hear a sledgehammer setup that wasn't loud as hell. maybe not the best sounding, but they do wang like mad!! i could sell that for $200 in about two days around here.....you should get rid of it quickly... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

i believe chevy350tpi and tirefryr both have done recent business with him. also, i know he was down by azbass for a bit...but i think he might have gone back to NY.... i'm going to be nosey, lol, if you don't car to mention why? wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Unbiased speculation on the upcoming TC-SMT
mrray13 replied to flakko's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
i have listened/installed two brands of shallow mount...pioneer and clarion. of the two, only the clarion impressed. the pioneer acted more liek a midbass driver then a subwoofer, whereas the clarion is a true sub. the downside to the clarion is that it's only available as a ten. the pioneer's terminals suck too...lol.. as to this one, if it's anything like tc's other products, it'll be very impressive for a shallow mount. to be honest, i'd like to try a pair under my silverado's back seat... my unbiased specualtion? it'll be worth the money as a shallow mount, tight space subwoofer, but will be overshadowed and overpriced compared to similiarly priced subs that are more traditional in size. maybe i can get kyle to send me a pair to play with?? wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee -
it's called a Argiope aurantia, commonly known as teh golden garden spider ome neat info edit for bad info...lol.... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

absolutely..lol...anything tossed into the bakyard, jumping into the backyard, or whatever, is indeed fair game. but this one was the boys'..though the new one is cool as hell... we once had a deer jump into our yard...took four people to pull sugar off of it..lol...and then a few of them got bit...sumbitches shouldn't have been in my yard!! lmao.... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

actually, i won't jsut burn it...i've actually thought about throwing a 8L7 in there and comparing them a bit... or do you want it? throw me shipping and cost of wood, supplies....(dunno about shipping, but it was~$30 to build) wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

i don't wear an oompa lumpa suit, but i like manual labor..but i'm weird i guess...lol.... had a weird day off yesterday...our akita snapped our new kitten in half. our other cat then proceeded to whip the shit outa the akita, and then our pits and terrier when i let them in. replaced the kitten with a new one, joey (our other cat) is still kicking the shit outa the dogs. (they won't mess with him for fear of immediate death). my wife and son really took the deth hard, but are relieved with the new kitten, who's name is cleopatera (spl?) we call her ms. cleo. it's funny, our dogs get dog like names...snickers (lil terrier), magnum, queenie (pits) and sugar (akita) though she's not so sweet. this is the 6th cat she's killed, though it's her first for being one our our cats. we think our neighbor's throw cats over the fence and if sugar gets them...well, the field next to the house holds the skeletons..lol... but anyway, all of our other pets get human names...AJ the conure (bird), Joey and now Ms. Cleo the cats.....the last two cats were Jasmine and Otto..... we are strange people...lol... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
