my armalite 2stage trigger is easily in the 4pd range, and danny (the guy who owns the shop) did a quickie trigger tune. OMG, lol. it's slick as shit and never even been fired. i can't wait to throw a few hundred down range!! i'll get some pics up here directly of the collection, and the 4 (or 5) new goodies that have never been photographed!! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

    Welcome to the IHoP

DPMS is a good company, makers of fine ars. i've had the privilige of shooting one of their ar10s (.308), very accurate, easy to shoot gun with a good trigger. they are probably in the same boat as rock river, meaning they have a goverment contract, and that has put production rifles on the backburner. rock river parts are 21 weeks out for the uppers. look into bushmaster, dpz, armalite (picking on of those up today) or the used market if a dpms is what you have to have. stag arms is another reputable company, not too mention smith and wesson m&p 15s are gaining favor, adn are very competively priced, most well under $1k. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Thanks I did find a dpms in .308, but it was digital camo. No thanks. If I was going to buy DPMS I would get the sass anyway just due to the wait. I will look again at armalite, the .308 selection was slim, and bushmaster really didn't have much in a .308. What I want is a MOA/sub MOA in .308 no more than 20" with ALL the trimming I can get, to me I would rather have and not need, than to later want what I do not have. I want the tippy top. Armalite wants' 3k for theirs, and I am just not sure I'm willing to spend THAT much. It's one heck of a gun, but meh. The JP is JP enterprises. Check them out I got to play with a trigger group that they use standard with their weapons. AMAZING. 1 jp looks like a fine, albeit fairly expensive, option. i would like their adjustable gas block/front sight for my armalite. with what you are considering, i think a $2k pricetag (new) is going to be about the norm. though i did see an armalite for $1400 in a google search... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

    Welcome to the IHoP

can't...lol..banned, lol. it's in every forum over there, again it's a 49 page thread on if para should charge $35 for getting in the classifieds. basic story is that several have said no, maybe just charge an overall fee, but this jim shugart fellow is allowed to badmouth them. blatantly breaking forum rules, yet he is allowed to do so. when he picked on a gentleman named deckert, i got involved. at first i was tolerated, but after para openly told deckert to shut up after another jim outburst, without telling jim the exact same thing, i went off. i got banned. it's bullshit and i want to be able to constantly be in para's face. it's bullshit and i'm not letting it ride. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

http://www.tv.com/video/15055/dances-with-...w_summary;video funny video clip..lol..i'm still laughing. i just got banned at smith-wessonforum.com due to the admin acting alot like ben milne/steve meade. seems as though if you're not a nuthugger, you can't argue. hmmmmmm...how does one go about going around an ip ban? i really want to have fune with this tool. pm me with directions please. and for those who want to join, you have to join, and it's the thread regarding charging a fee for using the classifieds, as a seller, buyer or just for browesing. and the admin is parabellum. yeah, i'm stooping low, but read the thread and you'll understand. the other main player is jim shugart. no relation to our jimj.... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Always believe recruiters. NOT I knew they were bullshittin me when they said that I'm a "big guy". I'm only slightly above average if you can believe the statistics for human height in America i know people think i'm huge. when i walk up, things typically settle down, and i'm not a big guy. though i get told that a lot. sean can verify the overall big guy thing, he has me by about 5" or so. and i don't think i look mean at all...... really. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

    Welcome to the IHoP

tired as hell. i will be taking, hopefully, my power test for the police academy in roughly 2 months. so i'm training now. i have to bench press 87% of my body weight, one time max rep. no biggie there, i'm training by doing pushups with my feet on my son's shoulders and him standing. so feet roughly 5' off the ground. good idea? think that approximates 87%? i have to do 34 bent-knee situps in a minute. i had 27 in 30 seconds when mini me said something and got me messed up. still got 34 in the minute though. i want to be able to get the 34 in about 35-45 seconds though. i have to sit and reach 15". don't know how they measure that, so i have no clue where i'm at. will try to find out. i have to run a mile and a half in 14:31. i just did it in 13:57, which is 11 seconds off what the 20-29 year olds have to do it in. the goal is 12:50-13:30 average. does that sound reasonable to achieve in 2 months? i will be running 3 days a week. i am also still training for my fight, which is also in november, but that will be bypassed if my ribs don't heal. (yeah, i just did all the above with seperated cartilage in my upper left rib cage. at least i think it's seperated cartilage, i know it hurts when i stretch, take deep breaths, sit up or lay down flat. otherwise, they feel fine.) so anyway, that's what's up with kent, and why i lurk more then post. oh yeah, i go to my mandatory 40 hr starting monday. 500 rds of .45acp will be a flying next week!!! YES!!! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

    Welcome to the IHoP

Sweet, glad to see it on the road I won't deny there are a few things I'd change if it were mine though Let me guess: smaller rims no wing not a white interior -- although considering it is the original color from the car maybe not different tires no LED tail lights a little less shaved you guys were guessing about 450 hp in the 'bird right? I wouldn't be surprised if it hit high 11s if it could hook I'd put it in the 11's from seat of the pants. The 450 unlike most peoples guesses I actually think is conservative. I am not so sure about it hooking though, it likes to rotate them at about any speed but so does the E55 (well the electronic grandma kicks in a lot anyways). From a roll the thing is a beast. holy shit! that thing is sexy!! and i don't think i'd change a thing!! you should do a vid of the m5 vs da chicken, both from a standstill and a roll! that would be pimp! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

The linc and the 22in shoes

here's what i don't get dj... you seem to have enough pride in the car to make sure it's reliable and decently well-kept. why ghetto the lift? and yeah, it's ghetto. coil spacers were ( i say were instead of are because every hooptie in southern illinois on big wheels has done what you have done) designed as a temporary fix for sagging springs, not to crank them up to fit bigger tires. yeah it works for you, cool. but it still isn't right. it's definitely something that needs addressed. your brakes do as well. you've just increased rolling mass and inertia. your brakes will work ok for a bit, but they will fade. and bigger brakes aren't that hard to do. if everything else you are doing to this car is done right, why not do it all? then you wouldn't get flamed. i hate to say it, but visitor is pretty spot on. if you didn't want to get flamed, why post the ghetto part of the lift?you could have just left it with photos on the 22s, and yeah, i think it looks good on the spokes, and i'd wager it wouldn't be like this. again, not knocking anything about you, or the car, except the manner in which you lifted it. it's a cheap shortcut, and not a good one at that. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

    dad's day gift!!

yay for me! ruger mkIII w/ barska red dot. has a 5 moa dot when cranked up, a lil big, but it'll drive nails at 25yds and stay under 2" at 50yd. (off a rest fo course) not bad for a 60(maybe older) year old design and a cheapo optic, lol. what i see when it's pointing at some poor squirrel, or rabbit, or dog, or redneck idiot...well, maybe not the dog. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

The linc and the 22in shoes

with a lift like that, this thing belongs in the hoopties thread, not here. sorry bro, but that's just pathetic. car has potential, those big lincolns look good with 22" spokes, but that ghetto ass lift is wrong. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
