Rms coil ratings aren't too important in when determining how much power a subwoofer "needs", in my opinion. Heck, I'm using an old xxx on 400w and I can get it to rattle my room apart. I even used it in the car on 2 channels of a kx350.4 and played way over what I can call decent. Funny thing is, if he gets the BL now and upgrades to a much more powerfull amp in the future, he's going to be ask himself why he didn't buy the BTL in the first place... Well i have planed to buy a Audioque 3500D,think it will have power to make the BTL or the BL dance,if i am happy with the Subwoofer i might just add a new one.

So there is more Wire in a dual 2ohm then a dual 1ohm?

So the BTL prob 15" will still sound good to music? it does happen that i lissen to Rock / Metal an i do not want to blow the sub up because it can't keep up with the speed of the basstones

Thay only have the old BTL on Bladeice..

Hello there. I am looking for a subwoofer to compete in Swedeish serie of Bassrace this summer,I've been looking at the BL's and the BTL's and i am not realy sure what to go with. Because thay need to handle music both loud and ("Good" if you can say that about SPL woofers). The Amp i got at this moment is a Mutant 1500xxx,so i have abit over 1500wrms to play with. I have send mails to you guys at FI somehow i haven't got an replay yet so i'll take this in the forum insteed. Is it possible for me as a Swedish cusomer to buy subs directly from you?
