The Big Three
Dutchie. replied to xLogan225x's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
If you have no voltage problems right now then I would finish off the big three in the 4 gauge wire you have now. That way, it's all done, and if you upgrade in the future all you need to do is get some 1/0 in the same length as the 4 gauge you pull off, solder, and install. -
This is hilarious

I have the exact same problem on my rover. The beams are sealed. I found some lenses that weren't sealed just for HID kits, etc. I'm not sure about Lincolns, but I bet you could find a set somewhere.

Welcome. Great place right here

Yes please! I am ready to go to a hypnotist to see if that will help or perhaps acupuncture. I've seen a hypnotist act one time. He hypnotized a group of people and made them do a bunch of stuff. It was really interesting. On another note, it seems C A C O has really gone down the drain. I was looking forward to maybe doing some sales and stuff over there, but not any more. This is the BEST forum.

Been listening to a lot of Wiz, and whatever is on Zip 11 from Decaf. Probably going to go get number 12 right now.

If it helps anything out, sure. I bought this from 1800woofers. It's good. Just happy to have everything straightened out.

Wiring problem with a 21 inch Warden and SAZ 3500
Dutchie. replied to escarado's topic in Incriminator Audio
The coils are on two different sides of the sub. Wire one positive on one side to one negative on the other side. Now connect the remaining positive to the amp and the remaining negative on the other side of the sub to the amp. Should now read higher. Good luck. -
Depends on the sub and how it's made. Take Fi for example: There is a daily or SPL option. The SPL option has a much smaller gap. Playing music on the SPL option may cause coil rub, which will eventually ruin the speaker. They are made for playing single tones for short bursts. Some speakers that are SPL oriented also follow this rule of thumb. It all depends on how they are manufactured. If you are curious about a single speaker, then do some research on it or post up a question. Hope this helps!

I had so much fun watching this. It was hilarious.

Begginer PLZ help for those who are experienced
Dutchie. replied to Babbar Khalsa's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
I'd look into a bigger alt, big three, and an upgraded battery under the hood and go from there. -
Thanks for that video. I enjoyed watching it.

Okay, so when you wire three subs together, there are always weird impedance numbers. It's never a solid one or two ohm. It's always some strange decimal. Example: So I was wondering, what if you wired, say, two dual 1's together for a 1 ohm load, then wired a dual 2 to a one ohm load and plugged them all into the amp, would the third sub be in phase or all out of wack? I just want to know if this will work out, because then you have all three subs together on a solid 2 ohm load. EDIT: Just to clarify, the 2 dual 1 ohms subs and the single dual 2 ohm sub are wired completely separately and then the two sets of leads are plugged into the amp for a solid 2 ohm load.

I would like to say this whole union thing is over my head, but Yes sand and sand boogers do suck.
-
*With the right enclosure* the two SA-12's should give you a better output.

I would just like to say it is mainly install dependent. Please can we get this back on topic. And for the L7 thing: "To each his own." -What may sound "good" to one person, may sound "bad" to another. It is all in the listener's ear.
