So far i am looking at the kenwood KDC-mp242 http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_17549_...KDC-MP242.html# It has tuning and the rear control. My vehicle has a 6 3/8" mounting depth for the h/u, so anything over than is a no go. My paximum price range is around $100 - $120. Feel free to post your own experiences with different brands and components.

Looks ... interesting, and i like all the rca input/outputs for amps. I need to run two or three.
-
And its not super hi-priced.
-
And it supports cd changers. This is definitely something to consider.

There is a mini with 2 18's, then there is a mini powered by sundown with 2 18's. The vids say it all.

Where is the best place to get an o-scope and for how much?

Good luck to you man, bad luck caught you.

I'm tuned in to this build.

That craftsmanship is amazing.

I saw a big goose egg on t-shirts.

I really like it. It looks super clean and everything matches pretty well.

Give me the black one and you'll be my best friend

lol I don't know if I'll be able to handle it! The box for SURE makes a difference. Compared to my friends 2 12" mtx 9500's on 2200rms in a ported box in a Rover, this is almost as loud, maybe AS loud.... on half the power He also has an extra batt and 0 guage sooooo take that into consideration. NOT a fan of mtx, but a fan of Rovers These subs are so sick. I hope to get 2x 15s when i'm done with this first system

Some dude is spending major bank for his girl lol.

It doesn't matter what you do to that box, it will still look good.

I don't want to sound rude or anything but everything you just said was wrong lol. I still have diff lock (center only, but that's what all LRs have regardless of the years), Hi & Low, and I can lift it with ease. The 2004 is actually the best Discovery II offroad wise. Not the h-gear setup, and a stock classic can outwheel the d2. I would know, we own 3 defender 110s, 2 range rover classics, and tons of series vehicles, and i have worked on plenty d1s, d2s. Im not too much of a fan of them. And you lock the tcase, but not diffs. Its not a complete lock. In fact, I don't think it locks at all. I go offroading with the Virginia Land Rover Owners Club every year. And i am building the other classic right after im done with the current one. ANd yes you can get lifts to just about how high you want them from various Rove dealers, just installing the lift is a major pain in the ass due to all the unneeded electrical. Oh, I never said that Classics weren't good. They are amazing off road and ride amazing while doing it. I just prefer the discos over the RR unless you bobtail them. Plus, it is VERY hard to find a good classic these days. I only found one w/ 60k miles & it was $16k. But to each his own... Aww you should have asked me, a guy in the club was sellin an 89 and another 92. I'll see whats goin on lol. Can also get the p38 body style

Im a big land rover guy, and have a 93 range rover classic myself. The d2s are extremely nice, but just don't plan on lifting it They have too much electrical to lift, and this series of disco land rover did away with diff lock and installed the fully functional traction control. So no lift kits

How tired is a dog's ass? I would assume pretty tired since he feels like he has been metaphorically dragged around all day and sat on. Can't forget gettin sniffed too.

Looks good. Stoked to see the outcome.

I want one ... or two

What vehicle is this going in, what music do you listen to, etc?
