You could go with the Fi Q's as well.
-
It probably goes more along the lines of people disliking forum boners. But to cap that off, Fi isn't like a typical forum boner where the product is cheap and performs ehhhh ok. Start looking around at world finalists and see how many of them are running Fi Products. Trophy's speak for themselves in this hobby.

That should be more than enough power for burps.

The server had crashed last night under unknown circumstances.. I'll call Mark and have him call the host to trouble shoot the client problems.

Everyone try clearing your cookies for the forum and reloading the page. I had the same problem last night when the forum went offline then came back up. Those two things seemed to fix it for me.

Good sub recommendations for SAZ-1500D
johnecon2001 replied to dakotap's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
An ICON 12 would be fun off of that power. That being said, you don't have to send the full force of the 1500D to it. You can always turn the gain down. -
I believe air begins to compress at 180+. Which is why it's so hard to get up to that point.

Good sub recommendations for SAZ-1500D
johnecon2001 replied to dakotap's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
You could run the new Mags at 2ohms and they would be perfectly happy with that power. Although your current setup isn't doing it for you in the loudness department, so I'd probably recommend the Q's or the SSA ICON's to you. Both can be wired at 1 ohm to the SAZ-1500D. To be honest though, you don't really have enough power for two of either of those woofers. You do have enough for two SSD's though... Two 10" ported would be pretty wicked. -
Mids for front stage paired with peerless hds
johnecon2001 replied to Smondo17's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
I belive you are correct No, the two slopes just overlap. They're still the same slope percent, they won't add together like a gain cut will. -
What did you say in the first post? Was it English?

Is there a reason why the ''Q'' series isn't liste
johnecon2001 replied to lee's topic in Fi Products
Site must be broken. -
Powermaster.

Ported is, in most cases always louder than sealed. But you sacrifice an even frequency playing field. If you port the ICON, I'd tune it to 32-33hz for the types of music you enjoy.

AGM charger

You only need to worry about a type of battery charger if you have a Gel Cell battery. Any other battery will use the same charger. -
Are you sure you wired them in phase?

What has the greatest effect on.....
johnecon2001 replied to SplFiend's topic in Advanced Discussion
Sorry, I still can't get over why you would have two different subwoofers in the same installation. -
Mark sealed up a 12", and it had plenty of output for his tastes in a smaller car. Put it in just under 1^3ft sealed and it'll be happy as a clam.
-
Looks like it's right in the sweet spot. A little larger wouldn't hurt, but it looks ok.

Important Kinetik Battery info for those with problems
johnecon2001 replied to shizzzon's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
John, I'd pull those kinetics and sell em. Should be able to get your money back for them enough to the point where you can buy a couple of D3100's -
Either would be fine with that power. What kind of goals and space do you have?

I doubt its a problem with the amp. You said yourself when you unplug the RCA's the noise goes away. Sounds like a head unit problem to me. Try regrounding that instead.
