Signal processing options
johnecon2001 replied to jimbo's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
The RUX doesn't have to be connected all the time. You can set up the H701 and disconnect it. All the settings stay. -
Check this out too http://www.google.com/search?q=Indiana+mil...lient=firefox-a

maybe they ment they get that back? 48 1/2 cents per mile can add up. Could also be a separate state thing other than Federal.

Signal processing options
johnecon2001 replied to jimbo's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
That Behringer is REALLY hissy.. I wouldn't recommend it. Not to mention you have to change the balanced outputs and inputs it has to unbalanced. The RTA inside of it doesn't work well at all. -
Did you possibly wire the voice coils out of phase?

Any Alpine deck that offers Ai-Net control can accurately tune it. I've got the W205. -
So far everyone has different IP's Nick.

The Alpine PXA-H701 w/ the RUX-C701 controller. -
Eh that doesn't really matter too much. And for the record.. you can't put two DVC2 ohm subs strapped at 1 ohm. They'd be strapped at 2 ohms. 1 ohm per amp.

Alt Choices

I'd go with whatever brand has a better idle output. -
Wait.. John has friends?

Can I just tell you how much I like you, and then have a shirt instead??

ooo, I just re-read his post from a Reconing standpoint. And then it made sense. Black CA is Cyanoacrylate glue that is black. And then.. yeah.
-
Right right.. but he said accelerator..

There are almost no movies that have 7.1 surround sound. So the benefit is minimal vs cost for 7.1. Just stick with 5.1. Honestly, with your budget, you have two options. Home Theater in a box. Found typically at walmart, target etc. 2.1 System. Large front speakers and a bumpin sub. That's about it.

Yeah that post makes sense ... Elaborate! What is the accelerator?

Amp for dual ICONS
johnecon2001 replied to juan's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Everyone that has used the Crunch GP3000D has been happy with it so far. It falls within your budget, and there was a thread on Termpro about benching it and it putting out rated power+. http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/Pr...ProductID=18538 -
Need More Power
johnecon2001 replied to ajada85's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Your amp is not 24v compatible. In fact.. no amps that I can think of are compatible to that amount. If you want more power out of your system, you're going to need a high output alternator. -
Amp for dual ICONS
johnecon2001 replied to juan's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
You'll want an amp that can deliver between 1800-2200wrms @ 1 ohm.
