Got a measuring tape? Go measure your stock battery. -
There isn't one, because they give you recommended sizes and tunes and expect you to do what's best to fit that into your vehicle. And because we have this: http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/home/index.php/boxtools Go nuts.

A 200A alternator would be a good thing to look into to deliver full and proper performance from the SAZ3KD. Barring that however, you could upgrade your underhood battery to something beefier and add a couple of extra batteries in the rear.

The size of the subwoofer has NOTHING to do with how it sounds. If he wanted low lows, he should have gone with the Q and put it in a sealed box. But since he has the BTL.. I doubt he's looking to go down low.
-
Electrically speaking, this ^ would be correct. But since it's connected to a resistive load.. that math is not accurate.

Quite a few good reviews on that deck. To me.. Jensen has always been a fairly cheap company though, so if you want quality.. I'd head to Alpine or Eclipse territory. -
That was Jordan (Godsmack). He had 4 10 inchers in the back. Lean and mean. And to the OP... you need to actually go and measure your usable space.. telling us what car you have isn't helpful as we probably don't own that car.

2nd battery help
johnecon2001 replied to dtcharneski's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
You need two fuses on the battery link. One at the front, and one at the rear. -
At first when I read the title, I expected a cheap Chinese type flea market amp. But a full Class-A, Made in the USA? Didn't see that coming.
-
No doubt, great looking and performing drivers.

You can't wire to 2 ohms with a single DVC2 ohm subwoofer. 1 ohm and 4 ohms are your only options.
-
Or tell us your budget..
-
.............FAIL no... I do believe YOU fail for even thinking that thing up.

Around 12v. -
Kicker doesn't recone the L5.. but I recall Fi reconing an L7 recently, so maybe they can help you out. When you email them, try to use punctuation. Maybe some basic grammar too.
-
How about an SSA ICON now that they're back in stock. A DVC2 model would love 740w.

No women... ur school sux lol

More like consider a new alternator along with two cells.
-
For $350 you can pick up a factory recertified Sundown SAZ-1500D from dB-r.
-
You want to piss people off outside of your car? I don't think we can help you here. Personally, I'd get the BL's and save for a better amplifier.
-
You must use both voice coils. The different ohms are to allow you to wire the subs to a certain final impedance that your amplifier is stable too.

Recently, I damaged my rear bumper on top of Four Peaks, AZ. Which was naturally an excuse to get a new one That turned into "what else can I get done while it's in the shop". This is the after math: Trail Gear U-Bolt flip kit Doug Thorley Headers (o2 sim coming soon) And finally, the solution to my efff up.
-
The goal on the new one was to move the hitch and the bumper up for improved ground clearance. Which was the reason I needed this one in the first place.. hehe, came off a rock and bent the stock one. I've thought about a tire gate to relocate the spare... but I use my bed a lot for work, so I don't know about that yet. We'll see I suppose.

There were two runs made that I remembner. I am a proud owner of both.
