8" mid-bass drivers to keep up with xcon
johnecon2001 replied to gadgeteer123's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
Those are subwoofers... not midbass drivers Midbass is ment to blend with your front stage.. if you can't fit them in the doors, then you should make kick panels. Pick up these, Ascendant Audio 7" Carbons - SSA Car Audio Forum Cheap, good, reconeable seeing as how you blow things up often. -
They perform PERFECTLY FINE in a sealed box. Ported vs sealed is all user preference.
-
Negative from battery to the amp is fine. That may be the lowest resistance option. Try hooking up a cd player or ipod to your amp and see if it exhibits the same behavior.
-
Its the same thing..

Newly PSI Reconed DD 3500 18 value
johnecon2001 replied to loondizie52's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
Less than a DD reconed 3500 would fetch. Find someone selling a used one of those and then ask 25% less. -

Stetsom V 1K5 H 1 Ohm - SSA STORE SSA SHop - Inciminator Audio 20.1 Amplifier

You've failed to mention a budget..
-
Sure it can. It may not be as loud as a 6.5 or 8" woofer, but cone size does NOT dictate frequency ability.
-
Let me google that for you

Idk Nick, Lord Aoshi sounds more credible than you.

2 things, Cant find info on LG speakers, Need reciever reccomendation
johnecon2001 replied to Mynameismcgyver's topic in Home Audio
Do you have a budget for the receiver? -
Good is quite subjective, but 1500w would be plenty for that setup. Did you have a budget at all? Hard to recommend anything else without knowing what you can spend.
-
lol, you won't think so when you see it. Especially bolted to an 18" basket. Of course, motor size really means nothing over all.
-
My favorite.
-
Silicone caulk will do the trick. Obviously a recone will completely fix it, but the caulk will work fine.

Seems an ok price, it's a couple of years old. I think I got mine in 2007 for $615.

Excessive has a forum that you could post in... Excessive Amperage - Realm of Excursion -
What are you running your current BTL at ohm wise on that amp? 1 ohm? You'll need to get a recone in order to run the amp at 1 ohm again.
-
Nope its doing exactly what it's supposed to do. The BTL cannot be modeled in WinISD. You should be using the Fi Recommended enclosures in the Tech section instead.

Yeah BS on that. Excessive Amperage makes Civic alternators galore. So does Iraggi.
