lol, no point in deadening anything at all then if you're going to be that lazy. Either do it right, or don't even do it.
-
Just use one.

U bastard. That looks fun. -
Unless your BTL has the Universal option, you're stuck with 1 ohm recones.
-
Check here http://www.db-r.com/sell/store/index.php?categoryID=92 Looks like he's out of 1500D's at the moment, but the 1200D would be a contender too.

Budget?

The noise you typically hear coming from a kickdrum that you feel in your chest isn't coming from your subs. It comes from your midbass. Sounds like it's time to re-evaluate your front stage.
-
You're going about it the right way. When you strap two amps, you combine their lowest operating load (SAZ3kD is 1 ohm) for a final load. In this case 2 ohms. When you get two subs wire them like this: Welcome to SSA
-
That amp is too powerful for either sub singularly. You could run two, but make sure you have the space for them. I'd get the SSD with Flatwind coil and BP power. Get the DVC1 option to run two of them, or get the DVC2 option to run one (wire it to 4 ohms). BEWARE though, that amp is double the power that subwoofer can handle if you run one. Box tools are here http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/product...sure_tools.html

Add Cooling, Flatwind, Daily and Universal. Should be all you need. Extreme Lead too if you have the spare $5.

Bump will depend on a lot of factors. Most importantly, the box. We can't recommend another amp to you, until you provide us with a budget.

He wants to use the 1700w and the 3kW together on the same woofers? I hope you tell him differently. I hope that wasn't your idea. -
They also suck at returns or any type of customer service. You ever buy something from there, hope to god you don't have a problem with it.

You're not looking for good sound. You're looking for something that will keep up with your wall. Start looking into pro audio drivers and horns. Check out the manufacturer "Selenium" as well. -
Do you think the Q is going to "pound harder" though? Maybe a BTL? Pound harder than a W6? Easily.
-
You can't say for sure that will be better though. Mo' inches doesn't equal mo' betta'. The BTL is Fi's most efficient subwoofer. It can handle that 2kW with ease. I'm always more impressed with single subwoofer setups putting up big numbers than I am with multiple woofer setups.
-
They're both ment for different things. So, after that's been said, what are you looking for in a woofer. And what power and space do you have available?
-
What's your budget looking like for an amp?
-
Box recommendations are the same from the old BTL to the new.
-
Since you already have the W6.. I'd go up to the Q. http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/i...?showtopic=7155 Read that ^ for info on those options.
-
So have I, but this is the other way around.
-
That amp will be fine with the BL.

This amp worth the price?
johnecon2001 replied to Dutchie.'s topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Everywhere i have looked has that rms rating though, ebay and stores. The reality still holds though. The only Crunch amp that has been independently tested to do rated power is the Ground Pounder 3000 series.
