Any reason why you have to go with one company for the sub amp and highs amp? Why not just give a budget and what drivers you're planning on running. Choosing amps before choosing speakers really limits what you can pick as far as wiring configurations go.

A different battery may conceal the problem for a little while, but don't ignore the fact that your alternator is too tiny to really power your car and your system as well.

Efficient? Build it larger than recommended. Try out 9^3ft. Your one 6" port might be big enough to minimize port noise. For a 27hz tuning, cut the port to 7.22"

If you can possibly run the woofers in your door and seal it off as best as possible to give it around 1.0^3ft that will smooth out a hump at 100hz.
