2002 Caddy on bagz...8 Fi BTL 18's, 2 RF T15k amps (new vid pg 31)

Any though to taking the Roof rack off? Maybe white LED in the cabin light instead of the stock halogen too. -
... You probably should have measured your available space to make sure that you can even fit an adequately large box for an 18" woofer in. I'm going to go out on a limb and say, no way you're getting that thing in there.
-
Do you already have an amplifier picked out? You need to match the ohm load of your woofer to the lowest your amplifier (and your electrical system) can handle. And really, the options you'll add are Cooling and Universal (only add universal if you get the D1 woofer).
-
Just remember, you drop the power handling of the woofer in a T-Line.

Holy sewer pipe batman.

Probably one 12" ported would be right for your type of music preference, but without knowing how much space you have available... it's hard to say.

amp question

Bass boost typically should be on zero as it can induce clipping that can kill your speaker if you don't use it carefully. Your crossover should be set around 80hz. -
which to choose?

Why don't you just have the BTL reconed? Sundown is trying out a trade up program as well for the amplifiers. http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/i...showtopic=24871 -
Host them on Imageshack.us Copy the forum code it gives you to here.

If one has an auxiliary input, send the preouts from one into the other. -

OUCH. May as well get a new rear trailing arm as well. I'd put money on it being twisted. -

The Sundown would certainly have better customer service. Not to mention, it's underrated. -
I haven't seen Scottie on here in awhile. He'd be the one to ask.

I don't believe there was ever an option to change the motor config on the BL.

Don't try any warranty claims with RD as well.. its more of a TCAB situation (take cash and bail). The Omega's look nice.. but they're still unproven as good woofers, both in the competition circuit and in daily drivers. They're slapped together parts from PAP. -

And they looks so strong too! -
Without YOU giving us some more information, there is no possible way to determine what will be louder. Also Searching > YOU http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/i...showtopic=24109

Of course it has blind spots, just something you have to live with if you wall your vehicle.

ehhh.. the Q is rated at 1000w, and the SE at 600. The DCON is rated at 300w. Not in the same class at all.

Ground right to the battery. Use larger than average cable. Add more/larger batteries to his supply and buy him an isolator. You don't want his system running off of his engine power.

Its probably the trailing arm. You should be able to pick up a set of them at a junkyard for under $200. Replacing them is really easy, don't pay someone to do it. You'll need an alignment afterwards though. -
Make sure your coils aren't wired out of phase..

my damn tv went out..

I've replaced lamps on newer Samsung DLP's, never on old projection TV's though. I'd imagine its close to the same thing. Something you should factor in though is the cost of the lamp if the TV is on the older side. May be more worth while to just buy a new TV.
